Irving is the 4th most talented player in the league after LBJ,Durant and Davis

Lets not get carried away here but Westbrook is above Irving on the talent bar because of his triple double vision.

Irving is a top 5 point guard and that is a compliment in this league.

Hes the best pure scorer at his position, the best ball handler at his position.

I just cant believe a little guy joined Kobe and Mike in the +55 club twice.

Now that it has sunk it, What a performance by Ky! :)

The best individual performance of the season and one of the best I have seen in the last few years. He was in the zone. The only thing that stops me from considering amongst the greatest ever is that it was in a regular season game but still it was a fantastic performance considering who it was up against. I mean, this just says it all really:-

Kyrie is about as serious a 22 year old player as you can find. Doesn't really seem to have emotional highs or lows, and just comes across as incredibly focused on the goal. He's basically mirrored LBJ's personality in that regard, although it took LBJ longer to get there. Both just come across as incredibly business-like.

I was bored so I decided to compare Kyrie Irving's first four seasons cumulatively with Allen Iverson's and the resemblance [when averaged across 100 possessions] is interesting:

Well my friend, Kyrie is better than Allen Iverson. Look at that ORtg again, Kryidiculous.

Donald Sterling and Neil Olshey, you guys are the real MVP's.

"The drill is, as always, is 'Is the player you're getting back more valuable than the potential you could get in the draft?'" said Clippers general manager Neil Olshey. "Our analysis at this point in February is that it was more valuable to get a 28-year-old All-Star point guard that we have for the next few years, cap flexibility to make sure we take care of business and re-sign DeAndre Jordan and have flexibility to take care of Eric Gordon as well, as opposed to speculating on another kid that's 19 years old with one year of college experience.

I'm not impressed. Cavs played iso ball, not even close to their potential, while Spurs played as well as they could given their limitations. The Spurs last year smashed the Heat by a record margin. Spurs this year are missing something, they've been blowing close games all season long. Currenly they are matched up with Portland, who have done a heck of a job without Wes Matthews. I can see first round exit all the way.

This is really the first time all year the Spurs have had all their main guys healthy. Parker, Leonard, Mills, Splitter and Ginobili have all missed time this year with injuries that ranged from minor to severe. The Spurs we've seen over the last two weeks are the championship level Spurs we know.

They may still be a first-round exit, but that says more about how tough the West is. Don't let San Antonio's record fool you, they can win it all again.

(By the way, what they were missing last night was Ginobili, who played limited minutes with a stomach virus... after getting an IV during the day. The Spurs will be fine.)

Stephen Curry has to be placed above him.
As far as production, yes Curry is better because he is at his peak. Talent wise? No. Kyrie is basically Curry with a slightly worse 3 point shooting volume but with suped up handles and more athleticism. Scary to think what type of scoring numbers he is gonna put up in 3 years with a declining LBJ.

The only thing impressive about Westbrook is his athleticism and rebounding. Anyone elite can put up better scoring numbers given WBs volume of shots and im most certainly sure getting double digit assist is fairly easy when you are sporting the 2nd highest usage of ALL TIME. Again Westbrook right now is better than Kyrie given that he is 26 in his prime but basketball talent wise only thing he has over KI is athleticism. Like someone said Kyrie is basically a 6'3 Tmac esque scorer with elite efficiency and anyone who has seen Tmac from 2000-2004 knows how great a compliment that is
