LA cop killing spree

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I understand his frustration with "crooked" cops, but this was not the way to go about it.

There are people all over twitter praising him. Killing people who were innocent is nothing to praise. I feel that more often than not, people (no matter their position), will look out for themselves. I believe the system is corrupt, and all this will do is hone in one one individual, who went on his own "crusade". This will not be looked at as him trying to bring awareness to "dirty" cops, but more so that he was unstable and snapped and killed people.

The manifesto was interesting as it seems to affirm a lot of peoples' beliefs about some cops... Everything else has been terrifying.

Btw, you and everyone in here should do some research. The word "burner" is slang for CS gas grenade. I'll let you research on them.

I think it's sick how some people on the Internet are making this guy some type of hero. He has a Facebook fan page with over 70k likes. I think it's just an excuse to bring out your cop hater side.

I think you have to ask why would anyone support this dude? No reason? The Lapd has done a horrible job. They have shot 3 innocent people who don't even match his description. Incompetence to this extent is sad. They should be embarrassed and everyone else should be afraid. They will continue business as usual and continue to pay millions in easily avoidable lawsuits.

I do not support Dorner in any shape or form, but I also can't pretend I don't know why others do.

Incompetence of an institution does not equate to any sort of rational reason for supporting a serial killer/cop killer.

Why are you looking for rational support when this is obviously based on emotion? I said i don't support him in any way because I feel pretty rationally about it. Not everyone has the same tools.

How do you think Terrorists get support? Gangs? When people feel terrorized by the power structure they want it to burn and it's all emotional. The ends justifies the means in their eyes. It's nothing new or surprising. Also the, "We didn't do anything to provoke this" doesn't jive with the crazy way they have handled it. It just reinforces that the police think they are on a plane above the public instead of being in the public's employ as protectors. Does the ends of catching/killing this guy justify the means of shooting at everything that moves?

Those shot up vehicles are a smoking gun.

One of the cars shot wasn't even by the LAPD.

Still not an excuse to shoot, but still. People need to stop being so quick to form opinions.

This is kind of what I was trying to figure out. You said you KNEW why people supported him ... I was curious if you meant you empathize with their reasoning, or if you simply understood what deranged and irrational "logic" they were using.

Has he been confirmed dead yet??

Funny....but true

LOS ANGELES—Los Angeles residents are reportedly on edge today following reports that hundreds of armed and extremely dangerous Los Angeles Police Department officers are resuming regular patrolling duties after the conclusion of Tuesday’s manhunt for rogue ex-cop Christopher Dorner. “I mean, just knowing they’re out there is terrifying—how can I feel safe when these maniacs are on the loose in my neighborhood?” said a visibly rattled Ashley Stillson, 38, who explained that she strictly observed the city’s advisory to avoid the historically violent, unpredictable predators by going out in groups and avoiding the streets entirely after nightfall. “These guys are volatile and, in many cases, mentally unstable. Something needs to be done about them because I fear for my family knowing these sick people are still at large.” At press time, sources reported the tense mood in L.A. had brightened considerably after news of a serial rapist diverted numerous LAPD officers to a sprawling manhunt in nearby San Bernardino.
