LeBron James is Human...

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

very revealing information. and here i thought that james was not human. silly me. that changes everything. very meaningful.

Yes we all know hes human. But many seem to expect him to be perfect, and play at a non-human level. The weight of a franchise and a city is on his shoulders. If hes playing great, its just the LeBron we expect. If hes in a slump, people doubt him and criticize him, like hes not allowed to play poorly.

We have been conditioned to expect Greatness from LeBron all the time. When hes high, we should not take if for granted, but appreciate it. And like now, when hes low, we should support LeBron, not criticize.

A perfect example of LeBron's 'humanity' was last night in GS. The point of this thread was simply supporting LeBron when hes struggling. Weve all been through low points in our lives, and havent had to deal with the public's criticism for being less than perfect. Support LBJ no matter what, and dont expect him to be Great all the time.

Re: Give The King A Break

Nice article there. We are all just expecting the best from James all of the time. The Cleveland fans are sick of watching losers and we do not want LeBron to turn into one.

Failing to finish off 3 close games and stinking it up in Golden State doesn't help much either.

I expect him to suck it all up and play hard tonight.

Re: Give The King A Break

We think it's important to note that Allen Iverson didn't hit his first game winner until Nov. 12, 2004, nine years into his career.
Well that settles that then. No more whining. :piss:

Re: Give The King A Break

we woldnt be in any position to win a game with out him...so he had a couple of bad finishes....without him cavs are nothing really and I appreciate what he does for this organization

Re: Give The King A Break

Its the end of the world as we know it...

Great post HPD. If I were rep enabled, I'd hit you up!

Blame yourselves if anything. Everyone else outside of Cleveland knows that this kid is still developing and is not even a top 5 player at this point. When I ranked him 9th, I was filleted on this forum. Again...

1. Duncan
2. Garnett
3. Bryant
4. Iverson
5. ONeal
6. McGrady
7. Artest
8. Carter
9. James
10. Wade

Clutchness comes with confidence. Confidence comes from winning big time playoff games. James has yet to make the playoffs so give him some time.

Thanks Infante.

Bruce Lee in Enter the Dragon beating that guy from his ankles to the back of his neck with a pair of nunchucks was his best film moment imo.

If you continue to focus on it, it will continue to plague you......

The time has come for a NEW drama....

A drama of winning, in which LBJ is the star.......

And the fans are joyous.......

i dont focus on the negative. i watch old browns/cavs/indians games all the time, the ones the won. wether it be in the playoffs or not i know they didnt win the whole thing. you cant live in the past or future.

whats the new drama??? we are still losing, this time with a different team in a different arena. the best cavs teams couldnt win and they were a whole lot better than the cavs now. so whats new???

believe me that when the cavs or whomever wins everyone in sac will be hearing it from me.

James' critics, who are quick to point out that he's never hit a game-winning basket, have begun to agitate his teammates.

"There are people out there who think he is superhuman," said center Zydrunas Ilgauskas. "He's not. He's a 21-year-old kid who is one of the top three basketball players in the world.

"He's a tough guy, mentally and physically, and does not deserve this [criticism]."

Donyell Marshall: "It's unfair to LeBron. He's still learning how to play the game, yet has carried us all season."

I'd take Lebron over Shaq (the present always injured, slow Shaq and not the old one obviously), AI, TMac (that back is very scary), Artest (no explanation needed here), and Carter.

For only being "the 9th best player in the league": Lebron is number #1 in both PER, PER differential, and Roland Ratings
