LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yeah I agree with a lot of this.

I don't understand how the solution, now, is to shop Love for whatever the team can get unless it's a clear, undeniable upgrade. The ideas of shopping Love WITH the Brooklyn pick is asinine to me unless a proven mvp caliber player (Anthony Davis) is coming back on a long term deal or public assurances that they are going to re-sign for a maximum length deal.

Love plus the Nets pick to get Anthony Davis interests me even though it would lock the Cavs into two stars instead of potentially three of them. AD is that good in addition to a position of need. Plus I like the idea of screwing over Danny Ainge. He made the Kyrie trade in mind with having enough first-rounders left over to trade for AD to complete his dream roster. The Celtics don't have the team culture or the desire to absorb a personality like Demarcus Cousins. If the Celtics miss out on Davis, they may never have the big man to seriously contend for a championship.

Watching highlights of last finals, fatigue, be damned LeBron has to realize he can't bs around on defense. He can't leave the team 4 on 5 I'm defense. Not going to get it done against this team. If they do miss on a fast break they aren't going to miss a second time.

Can't complain to the refs and not get back every single time against this team. Every single possesion matters. Hopefully with jae here he really doesn't have to guard kd anymore, because at this point he really can't anymore at all. Just some things I noticed.

Of course he can guard KD. Even, the shot that KD made in his face was good defense. It was just better offense. It's criminal how Lebron, after 13 years in the league, is still asked to do so much on BOTH sides of the court. I'm very excited about getting Crowder, too. Hopefully, it gives Lebron stretches where he can conserve some energy. And then when it comes to down to crunch time, James gets the assignment.

Of course he can

But you need to remember KD gets to rest on the other end. He is the 3rd assigned to guard LBJ best player in the league

You can't lock down KD. Miami when they had elite defense and good wing defenders in Battier and LeBron at his defensive prime himself couldn't lock down KD. KD still scored 30+ points per game in the NBA Finals. The key is to stop KD from shooting as effeciently as he did.

True

Curry and KD are impossible to stop when they get going.

People slight Curry, but that dude will pull up from the logo.

KD is much harder though; a near 7 footer that can dribble and shoot? No wonder some consider him the best player now. Bron's combo of strength and size were unmatched. Now, it looks like a changing of the guard where KD's size and length are unmatched with LBJ aging. Bron always had a better team than KD, until now....

Not gonna be easy. Would love to get D-Wade.

Don't buy into that media bs. The dude was added to a 73 win team and Durant has played with some very good players

OKC with Westbrook won 47 games. He's a rare talent but LeBron is other worldly in comparison.

I doubt last years Cavs even make the playoffs without LeBron let alone winning 47 games

Curry and Durant are both one ankle injury away from never being the same again. The odds are that one of these guys gets hurt again. They have hardly been the most durable players.

Same issue with Kyrie. All personal nonsense aside Kyrie is always a slight ankle sprain from being very hurt. Game 5 of the 2017 finals was toast once he hurt that ankle.

On the flip side, you can always count on LeBron to be the iron man. If there's a game of utmost importance to the team, he'll play.

1061 + 217 = 1278 games over a 14-year career. An average of 91 games a year.

NO wouldn't trade AD for anyone in the league I don't think. They certainly aren't going to trade him for KLove plus a lottery pick.

DeMarcus Cousins is the guy we should target.

The Front office - for not putting the right players around him. We need more good cutters and finishers...players who can play without the ball. Crowder should help in that area tremendously, hopefully Jeff Green too. And it cannot be stated enough how much it hurts not having a pass first point guard. Delly did wonders for this team for that reason imagine if we had someone who was a slight upgrade to him. Can we reincarnate Jason Kidd?

This part I agree with. I would love a passing, defending point guard on this team. Our PG situation is a mess now with two injured/injury prone and limited players in IT and Rose. And neither are really passing oriented. Biggest weakness on the team.

I would Love, LOVE, LOVEEE to get our hands on TJ McConnell. He could more than fulfill the role Delly had. He averaged nearly 7 ast a game in under 27 mins. Plus he's tough as nails. Rumor was we tried dealing for him at the deadline and all we offered was Jordan freaking McCrae! Philly rightfully declined! I'd surrender our late 1st + Felder for him. Maybe even throw in our 2nd

So a 1st round pick, Felder and a 2nd for an undrafted player? NO THANKS!

Isaiah Thomas was 1 draft pick away from going undrafted and you wouldn't give up a late first, basically two-2nds and worthless Kay Felder for him?

So, this Peter Vecsey guy keeps pushing this Lebron to the Lakers. Saying it's 100% and that Russ Westbrook will be joining him. He's on the Cowherd show now talking about it. Did I miss something or is this BS. He's mentioning he wants to go West, be a Laker to compete for championships and be a movie star. Kids are going to school there. He even said, that if the Lakers were better, he would have left after the title run back in 2016.
WTF...
