LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
LeBron is 8th in the league in assists, including 10 in the last game.

Are they coming from the offensive sets or pick and roll with Andy? I get in this argument all the time and people think getting the assists is the same as playing the right way. I'd like to see more passes that lead to additional good passes than just one pass assists. Those are the "easy' ones. I know it is hard to think Lebron is playing badly, but the turnovers tell the other part of the story.

Probably 6 assists are from Andy. That means 4 might have come from drive and kick opportunities? How many came from running the offense? How many possessions were him shooting from the 3 point line with 0 passes in the possession? I'm talking about getting other guys going, don't care about the assists because we aren't winning and the offense isn't working.

If Lebron doesn't run the sets, no one is going to.

Seems to somehow criticise lebron, then call him the best player, then blame blatt and all the other players for being so bad. Then say its all lebrons fault for sending a bad message since training camp and how hes never respected blatt. Finishes off by saying hes done it all before, therefore making all the previous point moot.

I cant help but feel hes not really addressing any of the issues and helping me, the fan, from understanding whats happening

I will always wonder how much of a leader Lebron can be..I think it drains him.
He has needed another player to be that equal or more.
Perhaps he just needs to play and not worry about that.

He needs to play and let Blatt coach, and stop trying to do every single thing. I think LeBron coaching so much might be some of our problems... That could cause a lack of communication w/ coach Blatt. When players go to LeBron about problems or ask him how to do something, if LeBron tells them one thing when Blatt wants something done differently.

he's never had a teammate who was his "equal or more" - he's always been hands down the best player on his team.

well he isn't exactly wrong, although he used a convoluted way to explain it.

lebron hasn't been that good. he is the best player. blatt has struggled. many of the other players have been "so bad" in at least some significant aspect.

the blame goes all around, from top to bottom. he could've just said it a bit better.

My take, from the game thread:

You know what?

Its not Blatt
Its not Dion
Its not Tristan

It is LeBron James. He has been fucking garbage lately. Like worst player on the floor bad in half our games.

I don't know what his problem is but he sucks. Done making excuses for his pathetic play. Nothing else gets fixed unless LeBron starts playing basketball again.
Oh look, LeBron bothered trying tonight. And we won by infinity.

We also played the Orlando Magic without their number two scorer, Tobias Harris.

I am happy too, Let's hope Lebron can keep this assertive attitude.
We also played the Nuggets and Jazz...

But I hear ya.

I don't dare to watch Lebron's post game interviews, I always look at him with hatred,
He looks condencending and pointing fingers at others.
Am I the only one that wanted the franchise to be on Kyrie and Wiggins? Why did the Cavs need Lebron? he forced the Cavs to trade Wiggins, he left us and he's not providing, he's playing and acting like a bad team mate he doesn't let the coaching staff do their work..
why hire a coaching staff when Lebron is here, King James.
Please

he's never had a teammate who was his "equal or more" - he's always been hands down the best player on his team.

He's always been the best player on his team, but he has played with another real leader before who knew how to win(Wade). He had a strong bond with Wade and they listened to each other's advices about what they had to do to made their team better, etc.

It's a different situation with the Cavs. He doesn't have to take advice from Kyrie or Love because with all due respect to them and their fans, those guys aren't winners. They haven't been in the playoffs, let alone the finals the way Wade has before LeBron even teamed up with him. He doesn't have the same bond, respect, and trust with those guys yet because they haven't earn it. It's the same reason why he doesn't seem to be in awe of Coach Blatt.

Blatt has zero credibility as an NBA head coach and LeBron isn't going to treat him like he's Pop, Riley, Phil, etc, until he earns it. Wade was a competitor who not only challenged LeBron to played better, but he also challenged LeBron to be a better leader as well.

Now, LeBron has to be the one to challenge himself to be better and play the way we all know he can instead of pouting and acting like he isn't part of the problem/s.

Can't tell if serious or just trolling.

Lebron isn't articulate. We've all accepted that years ago.

But one thing Lebron always does with media interviews is he speaks his mind. And you have to respect that, he doesn't hide around the negatives or positives. And he doesn't need a coach. Lebron has never relied on his coach to get him to where he is now. He understands the game of basketball more than any coach you can put on that sideline.

And you have to accept the fact that he will never show much respect or authority to Blatt. He's worth just as much to Lebron as Paul Silas was. Wouldn't be surprised if this coach gets canned for someone much more preferable to Lebron's taste.
