LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Obviously you get the best player on the planet.

But I would have really liked to see Kyrie, Dion and Wiggins play together this year. High hopes with low expectations. Adding prieces as they grow.

A quick note on body language tonight: Lebron went back in the locker room after Love went out with his injury. Matrix was on the bench the whole time, but other than Lebron acknowledging people yelling "Happy Birthday" at him for 1.5 quarters and jawing with Kyrie, he seemed to keep his distance from the coaching staff.

Lebron is the only player on this team that has ever won anything in the NBA besides another trip to the lottery after a piss poor season.

Dan Gilbert has assembled an entire organization of people who have never had any success in the NBA at their current job.

The includes the players, coach, and front office.

None of them have any credibility with Lebron, so naturally he is going to run this ship until someone else proves to him they aren't going to shit down their leg when the going gets tough.

Kevin Love is a poor mans Melo when it comes to filling the sheet and taking your team no where.

Griffin was poisoned by too much time around Chris Grant, the worst GM in Cavs history.

Blatt had never even coached a game in the league.

By the way, Lebron just turned 30 and needs to win NOW. He has no interest/patience for guys that aren't cutting it right now.

This is on Dan for creating a situation in which there are newbs all over the place in vital positions when we needed guys who have a track record of getting it done.

Lebron is going to continue doing what he wants because in his mind he's the only one who has a clue how to actually win anything more than a lottery in that organization.

I think John Paxson would take issue with your assessment of Chris Grant. Did Grant ever trade a first for Jiri Welsch, and then turn around and trade Jiri Welsch for a second? Heck, Grant didn't even trade away Ron Harper for a slow, white tweener.

We need better players flat out.

If that means sacrificing the long term future for hort term success idgaf. Im tired of watching this defense, this LeBron, and this team.

Weve seen what LeBron does with good teammates, we just gotta find the players that fit our mold

We have also seen what Lebron can do with guys like Sasha Pavlovic, Damon Jones, Eric Snow etc....

I don't think this is about the guys playing with Lebron as much as it's about Lebron himself. Imo, if Lebron can buy into Blatt and his system this team is talented enough to come out of the East. He has good teammates, we have certainly seen him do more with less.

We should see if Charles Barkley, Michael Jordan, and Larry Bird are a available for trade. Wonder if The King would be satisfied???

Lebron seems from day one to have some kind of a "championship recipe" or a storyline where things should go in a very certain way to win a championship.
When the team started to get going Lebron said that there must be difficulties and issues before the Cavs could really be championship material - and then he just went on and created those issues by "chilling" it.
I think he shouldn't try to replicate the past or his Miami days - it was already done, you already been there.
He should create the present by giving what he has, and he has a lot on this team, a real chance to write a new story on how to win a championship.
If he wants to save himself for the offseason he should just talk with the coaching stuff and I'm sure they can fix together a way where he will play less or would have after x games a night off...
But being on court, and not giving even 60% is just awful to watch and doesn't really respect his legacy or his teammates and fans.

In Hebrew we have a saying: "the end/goal justifies the means", but I don't like the "means" I'm seeing from Lebron - Watching basketball and rooting for a team should be fun, even if it's "only December"...

The chill mode comment cannot be construed positively by anyone even in the national media. How long before this guy starts wearing an earpiece to give him ready responses? Not every response can be as well crafted as "the letter" even for as media savvy a person as lebron

he did say that..I actually listened to it while reading the quote..Wade says: 'You already know "...
But I also said he looked like he didn't want to play over Wade in that game.

BUSTED!!!! I'll bet Lebron is so pissed that he got caught saying that just mere inches away from 3 dozen cameras and even more microphones and didn't say that all the other times he was covering his mouth or in the hundreds of times he and DWade talk or text in private throughout the season.

It's almost as if he was about to throw a childish tantrum / power play in a few days after that was recorded... I wonder if that ended up happening... Hmmmm.... :detective:
