LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I can't imagine that, because that scenario has never existed and there are numerous, systemic, societal reasons why (reasons you've made very clear you have no understanding of nor desire to understand).

"He's trending in that direction" is limited, ignorant, and honestly just intellectually lazy. I think you can do a hell of a lot better, and should.

I mean, this is probably right. I don't know if he's racist. I think he's really ignorant.

I'm not offended by it. I'm just astonished he's this ignorant.

Im done with the racial talk bro. I respect you as a poster. Not gonna get into a big debate about it. I understand what you are saying, but Lebron needs to just stop talking about that shit. There really is no need for it.

I like reading this thread to make fun of how crappy the Lakers are, maybe someone start a thread for claims of Bron being a racist.

Not touching the racial stuff, but this quote does say something about how insulated LeBron is from the realities of the everyday working world. You do what your boss tells you to do, or they get rid of you and find someone who will. That's kind of the way it works in pretty much every job, except apparently the NBA.

For whatever reason? This weird compromise between the MLB "No Salary Cap" and the NFL's "strict salary cap" has created this weird monster.

That and this bullshit AAU culture that's formed in recent years.

Sure, but theirs no one in the world who can do what LeBron does. When you're the best in the world at what you do, and have been for over a decade, you get away with things other workers wouldn't. It shouldn't be surprising that he is insulated from the realities of the everyday working world.

We should be talking about what a diva and douche this guy is. I get why people don't want to compare him to Jordan.

Every where he goes, he has to run the coach out of town and throw everyone under the bus.

I think LB is still the greatest ever, because I like to go on talent and performance, not character.

But I've always maintain he's a really, really shitty leader. Leaders don't constantly throw everyone under the bus the way he does.

I get why other players don't like him and don't want to play with him.

I mean, remember those hit pieces that would come out about Kyrie? From Hayes, the mouth piece of LeBron's camp? When he'd have 1 assist, and we'd lose? And there'd be a hit piece that Kyrie can't lead a team.

And we wonder why Kyrie wanted to get farrrr away from this shit? Unless you're his best buddy Wade or 'Melo. NO ONE wants to play with the drama queen, and his passive aggressive childish antics.

He behaves like a spoiled child.

I get that, and I also get that LeBron is indispensable to his employers in a way very few of us are. Also, LeBron has never lived life "in the middle" like the vast majority of us do. He started out at the very bottom and went straight to the very top without ever having to stop in between. His frame of reference is completely different than ours. Still, the notion that you do what your employer tells you to do or you get shit-canned is pretty basic. That's the reality 99 percent of us deal with. So even if he doesn't realize how silly it is compare it to a "slave mentality" or "plantation mentality" or whatever, we do.

But really, the things he says aren't that important. He does a lot of good things for his community, which deserve respect. We all say stupid things from time to time, and LeBron is human like the rest of us.

I think LeBron is one miserable person, personally.

We think Kyrie is weird? I don't know man, this guy is pretty weird to me.

No one has mood swings, and acts like a high school girl like this guy. It's like he never grew up.
Lol, you crack me up man. You say the exact things i think about him. Great, great basketball player, but still acts 15.

Hey baller, i know you love Lebrons game, but what do you think of his personality. Im curious.

Let's be honest, if he never was from here or played here. Would we like him?

I'm not above liking players on opposing teams.

I don't expect superstar athletes to not act with a certain bit of entitlement, especially in basketball.

I get it. Jordan, Kobe, and guys like that tried to strong arm their teams. And weren't exactly lovely guys either. I don't really find them likable either.

I'm not going to pretend LeBron is the first. Nor, am I suggesting its not expected.

I just think the constant complaining and throwing teammates under the bus. And ALWAYS trying to fire his head coach and get the guy he wants.

Like who the fuck does he think he is? God? Everything should be done exactly as he likes?

He clearly has no loyalty to anyone, or thing, but himself.
He will stab you in the back fast, if it makes himself look better.

Everyone knows he's a narcissist.

Great player. I'll never take away what he does on the floor. He's a fantastic basketball player.

But he's pretty much a jerk as a person.

Lebron has always been an asshole in the way he deals with certain things. He's also been an exceptional human being at certain things.

I get it. We suck and he plays in LA now. That puts a magnifying glass on his dick moves and douche behavior.

He is what he is.

Things could be much worse for him and us.

I think he's done great things for his community. And obviously not some super villain, total bad guy.

And sure he has good in him. He NEVER had to come back here, and I don't think he owed it to us either.

I don't think he came back here just for 100% noble reasons either. But, hey it doesn't matter. He didn't have to, and I wouldn't have came back if the team was going to suck either. Who would?

And him going to LA doesn't make him a dick, or a bad person. He has every right to go where he wants to be.

He says a lot of stupid shit. He behaves like an asshole a lot. He throws teammates under the bus constantly.

So yeah, he does some jerk like things, like, a lot...

I mean, Jordan punched teammates in the face and Kobe raped a woman. We're talking about passive aggressive tweets vs. battery and rape. Plenty of guys have come out and said how great of a teammate he is. Sure LeBron acts like a dick sometimes, but the things he's done are small potatoes compared to what we've seen from some other players.

And it's not like he's the only player who didn't like Blatt. If Blatt was a great coach the Cavs shouldn't have fired, why haven't any other NBA teams hired him since then?

Lebron is arrogant, passive-aggressive and kind of douche-y in his constant pronuncements but I don't think he's a narcissist with no loyalty. Our front office destroyed this team, not him. Aside from the trade to save the season in the first year, just unbelievable front office incompetence. Some of Lebron's frustration over the years has come from being stuck with incompetent Cleveland organizations.

With all that said, both Cleveland and Lebron are now experiencing the karmic results of their fatal flaws. The Cavs have the worst roster in the NBA and are stuck in the wilderness for years to come (hopefully not decades if we're lucky). Lebron chose the Lakers to satisfy his need for attention and sense of self-importance, and because of that he will likely never see the Finals again. It's justice but it's sad.

Um yea, and we knew this already.

Here's some other things we already know.

1. Raised by a single parent in the projects

2. Annointed a basketball god at 16 to the world.

3. Drafted by hometown team with 0 nba championships. A city with in essence 0 ships.

4. Shit roster his first 7 years with CLE.

5. Boston forms super team

6. Media took massive shits on Lebron.

7. League allows players to foul Lebron all the time.

I could keep going.

Look, Lebron is an asshole but let's not act like there hasn't been outside forces contributing to what we see today along the way.

Atleast he isn't physically assaulting teammates.
