LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So a good portion of the board spends weeks and weeks trying to tell us that LeBron looked physically off? Right? Did that not happen? Not enough dunks. Dunks that weren't explosive enough for their tastes. Not 100% physical effort on defense for a whole game.

Then when it's acknowledged that there are some back and knee issues that need rest and treatment, everybody just flips the switch and says it's him "messing" with the staff or trying to send a "message"

It's like people are just actively looking for drama and will just shift from theory to theory on a day by day basis.

Also, for all those pointing to last night as what the next 2-3 weeks will be like, please remember that Love and Marion where also out. Can you do that for a second amongst the apocalyptic decrees?

I don't understand why Kyrie Irving is allowed to be hurt and miss games AND his injuries are a decent excuse for his deteriorating defensive effort but LeBron James isn't allowed the same leeway?

Frankly if he is hurt then rest him. I really don't care if we drop below .500, having a healthy LeBron is far more important. If we have to win on the road in the 1st round so be it.

And just to throw this one out there, because why not. Maybe LeBron's problem with Blatt is that he's continued to play him big minutes knowing that LeBron was dealing with these injuries? Just a thought.

Good, hope Lebron can heal properly and get back to playing the way he did last season. Even though he's had his injuries he has still put up 25ppg and 8apg on 49%. Imagine what he'll do once he's healthy.

Just let Irving and especially Love figure things out next 2 weeks and hopefully somebody can play themselves into the rotation for when Lebron comes back.

It has been pretty clear for weeks that we are not getting the full story. This whole Blatt business appears to have been a diversion for what has really been happening.

Wow that is blow, he is like never really injured or missed extended amount of time before. I do think this could be a good thing in that this will put confidence in everyone else and I think if kevin is made the offensive focal point he will get into a nice rhythm.

It depends. Lebron may be overselling the injury waiting for Blatt's dismissal..........then comes back refreshed and ready to make his move.

He's never missed more than 5 games in a row in his career--this will be the first time.

Frankly, to me, it explains a lot about how he has played this year. It's not everything, but a lot.

A healthy James has been a title contender for the past 8 years. Not necessarily the favorite, but a contender. Cavs to the finals against the Spurs, lost in 7 against a great Celtics team and led in game 7 on the road in the closing minutes, that damn series against the Magic in which we lead in every game except the last one, the disappointing series against the Celtics, 4 straight finals with the Heat.

If he's healthy, and we can get Love to play like Love, we'll be a force in the playoffs.

If the buckeyes lay an egg this place is going to be epically unbearable.

Back off the ledge.
I'm fine with this, it's a marathon, not a sprint. Let Lebron get his body and head straight. Let's see what we have on our bench, who can contribute and who can't before the trade season gets going. Also, it will give Kyrie and Love some time to jell, maybe it will also let lebron see how his teammates react to Blatt. Maybe this time off gets him to buy in. Or maybe we collapse and he gets his guy and we get his full effort again. Either way I think it will all shake out over the next few weeks. I also think we will get some help in the interior.

The key is peaking at the end of the season. I'm fine with bottoming out now. We play in the East so seeding isn't a huge deal for me.
I think this will give the FO the incentive to go out and make trades that will benefit the Cavs over the long term.

Cleveland Cavaliers RUMORS: Cavs Likely To Make Trades Or Roster Moves Before Jan. 7?
With the Jan. 7 deadline to waive players approaching, the Cleveland Cavaliers are likely to make a move - be it a trade or releasing a player to open a roster spot for a free agent such as Ray Allen, Emeka Okafor or Jermaine O'Neal.

All salaries become fully guaranteed on Jan. 10, so if a team wants to waive a player on a nonguaranteed contract, they must do so by Jan. 7 to make sure he clears waivers two days later on Jan. 9 - otherwise, they could get stuck paying out his salary.

Cleveland has been linked to trade rumors and free agents all season. The loss of center Anderson Varejao makes it almost certain the Cavaliers will pursue a big man, via either trade or free agency.

Cleveland has three players with nonguaranteed salaries: Lou Amundson, Alex Kirk and A.J. Price. Any of their contracts - prior to Jan. 7 - could be used to sweeten the pot for a deal, if the Cavaliers were to pursue a trade for a big man such as Indiana Pacers center Roy Hibbert, Denver Nuggets center Timofey Mozgov or Memphis Grizzlies center Kosta Koufos.

If a trade doesn't happen for Cleveland, at least one of the aforementioned Cavs players is still likely to be waived before Jan. 7. Cleveland currently has all 15 roster spots filled, but they're believed to be pursuing several free agents who're reportedly waiting until February to sign with a team. If Cleveland wants to save money and create a spot for Allen, Okafor or O'Neal, they'll have to release Amundson, Kirk or Price.

Of the three, Kirk appears to be the most likely to go after playing in only two games this season.

I'm fine with him sitting until he is 100%. We aren't going to have a better record than the Western Conference team so will be on the road in the Finals regardless, and I'm not scared of anybody in the East in a playoff series with or without HCA if our big guns are healthy.

We will get to see what he is made of. No more excuses for the guy if he continues to suck with Lebron out. (Love)
Haywood should also get a chance. I got to be honest he looks in pretty good shape to me. When we play the rockets and mavs next week he should start. I really think he could end up being a decent #4 big if Blatt plays him 15 minutes a game

We're really going to learn alot about these players in the next 2 weeks.

Are Irving and Love really stars/championship level players or overhyped losers? If its the former the team should be in decent shape even without Lebron. The latter...ehh.

We're also gonna learn alot about Blatts ability to coach without Lebron for an extended period of time. Does he go back to the fiery no bullshit Blatt from overseas and lead this team through adversity? Or will he look like a deer in the headlights like he has the last week? His job could be riding on this.

Should be interesting/entertaining to say the least
