LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It's not a personal issue with Blatt or the system...Blatt just isn't his guy.

Within 2 weeks of Lebron signing with Cleveland, Mark Jackson signed with Rich Paul's Klutch Sports. Connect the dots...

Well that is even more frustrating than anything else. That he would not give 100% focus and commitment to the schemes and guy that is here THIS year. It's just so petty to know we have a supposedly genius basketball coach and a genius level basketball player but the "business" end of things are "preventing" LeBron from giving his all in a way that maximizes our chances of winning big this year.

Do you think if they would have won big out of the gate that LeBrons Mark Jax infatuation might have subsided a bit?

One can imagine MJ being in constant text communication with Rich Paul and the other Klutch guys. Its too bad Sacramento didn't do us the favor of hiring MJ when they let Malone go.

I want this to be over with. Either the organization man up or go get LeBron's guy. This type of stuff effects my fandom, honestly. I don't like hearing these things. LeBron seems like a real piece of shit.

This is the problem with "groupthink." Diversity should be embraced. The storyline here would be legendary if/when LeBron gives it a chance.

You mean like Kevin Love taking charges when he could barely walk?

One player playing hard isn't a sign of anything.

Reports of players *with an S* talking down on their coach as recently as the Lakers game...clearly LeBron's thinking is rubbing off on some guys.

but lebron not getting jackson in the first place made winning big out of the gate really, really unlikely. it's not like lebron bought in and dedicated himself to blatt, only for it to go super poorly giving him reason to push for his guy. he never bought in, and it was much too big of an overall transition to lead to "winning big out of the gate" without the complete backing from the best player on the team.

also, if jackson were really close to accepting in sacramento i honestly believe paul would've assured him the cavs spot is opening up and to just be patient. this anti-blatt thing didn't start just this week, and we all know how it goes with lebron in this organization. he gets what he wants. it might be sooner or it might be later, but it happens.

Which players with an "s" ? What did they say? Is this more bullsh*t? What do you make of the recent report Mike Miller was going around talking to guys supporting Coach Blatt? Is Kyrie Irving playing through knee and back injuries? Did you know that when JR Smith was traded to the Cavs, LeBron didn't bother contacting him after he joined the team? Coach Blatt took Smith and Shumpert out to dinner. What do you think those guys thought about that? Do you think anyone on the team's preference is to play in an offense that inevitably leads to four guys standing around while one guy pounds the rock for 24 seconds?

I have no inside information on this, but if I had to place a large wager on which player most of the bad-talk about Blatt is coming from...I would probably bet a lot of money that it's Shawn Marion. Which is unfortunate if true, because he started the year off really positively, I felt like.

Will the trainwreck continue, Lebron finally get his way and have Mark Jackson as the coach in a week or two? Maybe.

In addition to more recent conversation in the mod room about this, crabbyshark addressed his concerns about this specific possibility in the Blatt thread in early August. So the subject of whether LBJ would buy-in to Blatt and also whether he would support Jackson getting hired has been an RCF topic (maybe not always active) for more than 6 months now.

The Golden State beat reporter (Kawakami) tweeted something alluding to this around the same time as well (when Jackson changed his representation).

I don't have much evidence either but using my Bill Simmon's body language skills I get the same exact feeling. I haven't like the way he handles himself (body language) since the 1st game. That and I have no confidence when he's finishing around the hoop. It seems like he finishes like Dion close to the hoop unless he makes some weird one handed running bank shoot.

The ball is firmly in LeBron's court now.

Blatt has, essentially, called LeBron out to try and work together with Blatt. Blatt doing this is going after one thing LeBron cares most about, and that's his image.

Interesting to see how he responds. Does he continue his passive tones or does he turn it up and give Blatt a shot to actually run the team?

So what are guys like Kyrie etc problem why aren't they playing up to their potential? Are they on Lebron side of things and views. I mean Lebron is the only leader of the team Kyrie and Love don't have a voice ?

Even with all of these points that have been made about Lebron sabotaging I haven't seen anybody play at the energy level he has played at the past two games over the last few weeks. I mean if he isn't buying in and still playing better defense than anyone on the team and playing better offensively than anybody on the team what does that say about the group?

I really, really wanted to believe that this type of shit wasn't coming back to Cleveland with the "older, wiser" LeBron.

Some things never change.

Thanks for the insight into just how spoiled and out of touch professional athletes can be, @Maximus .
