When do we start resting LBJ? 2 seed is all but locked up. Still have HCA seeding to secure against some West teams (notably the Spurs) but how much is that worth relative to a recharged LBJ come playoff time?

Will be a long playoff run and we'd have our issues against SA regardless of whether we have HCA or not given their experience.

we don have it against the spurs.. we barely play til the season is over. just keep at it. they can manage 2-3 games a week.

I think they play the next 3 games normally, sit guys on the back-to-back vs Detroit, and then play pretty much everyone the last game of the season, unless maintenance is needed. Schedule isn't exactly daunting from here on out.

Honestly, I just want to see a game where Joe Harris and Delly play 40 minutes each in the backcourt. Always enjoy those ones, like the one a few years ago where Boobie almost won a game vs Philly.
 
The transformation is complete.

Year after year during LeBron's first run with the team we all silently pleaded with him to set up shop on the block. That quick twitch athleticism in Karl Malone's body would make him a nightmare to defend 1-on-1; he could toss wings fast enough to guard him on the perimeter around like rag dolls down low, and trying to check him with a big was a ready-made mismatch we could isolate and attack.

It was too bad MB could never convince a stubborn LeBron to leave the perimeter, because we didn't see LeBron's post game take off until he was humbled in Miami years later.

But now, after seeing LeBron initiate our offense from below the elbows the past few games, it's come full circle. The work he's done with Hakeem shows; his fakes now have meaning, they set up his defender for his next move and keeps them off balance. He can spin left-to-right and right-to-left and finish with either hand off the glass, and he's always had a decent hook around the rim as long as I can remember.

The rest of the league is on notice --- looks like LeBron's using the full toolbox to bring Cleveland a title.
 
I actually don't mind Lebron's approach of not playing down there much during the season. It keeps his body from getting too beat up, and on top of that there is less material for opponents to scout and prepare for.

Fox Sports literally just came out with this story. I saw the headline on fbook and didn't read the article, but it read "Is there something more to Lebron's Instagram post about Coach K?"

Like...you were joking about it...and someone actually wrote that story.

That's absolutely ridiculous, but I don't think any of us can be surprised at this point. LeBron himself probably was like "I'll capitalize FAVORITE and watch 'em all have a field day with it." It's sad our media has completely taken a backseat to actual journalism and has fully embraced clickbait articles instead.
