LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I would agree if Kyrie was playing well and if we were getting blown out. Neither happened so if our coach has the same approach as us on the board with my hands our tied. What is he being paid to do? If he can't figure out a way to rest LBJ with a injured Kyrie then what the hell is he doing lol. Oh I know being praised when all is good. But when it's time to be a NBA coach he's literally acting like and RCF coach don't you find that worrisome. He literally approached the situation as you and others have stated to a T. Only problem is y'all aren't being rewarded his salary for having his same thought process which is a crime lol just jokes. Hit the disagree if you view it differently.

I agree that LeBron needs more rest, but just because he's getting paid to coach doesn't mean that he is supposed to see another option that isn't there. I think one thing that would help LeBron is playing Marion some to take pressure off of him defensively.

But at the end of the day guys, it's the freaking playoffs. The time to rest guys is the regular season. Look at Duncan. He was playing heavy minutes in that LA series, and he was able to do it because his minutes were restricted in the regular season.

I just can't possible see him shooting this bad the rest of the series. He is basically missing wide open jumpers I read another state that said Lebron is 1-12 this series on uncontested 3 pt shots. I mean honestly I'm not saying he is the worlds best shooter but those numbers have to level out to his norm at some point.

There are so many things LeBron does well that it makes it that much more painful to see him cough up the ball so much or pound the ball into a poor shot.

After watching him all season, he needs to learn to adapt his game somehow because he's clearly not the same guy he once was. I don't know if he's ready to admit this to himself yet. I think he could really benefit by buying into a more team oriented concept of basketball.

Lol at people in this thread turning on LeBron and calling him a bitch for shooting poorly. Watch him go bonkers in Game 4 along the lines of 36/9/9 on efficient shooting and everybody will be happy again. This is the type of situation where LBJ always goes off in his next game.

I agree with mostly all of what your saying. I just can't get down with my headcoach being as useful as RCF coaches even though most of those who post are pretty intelligent. Especially off the false pretense of not having another option considering we gained a body makes no sense to me. When being able to make the right adjustments on the fly is a part of your job description.

The jumper is killing him. Reminds me a lot of the Cle/SA series. If his jumper isn't on and he has no driving lanes you're going to make Lebron look human.
Now with Love and even maybe just healthy Kyrie this wouldn't be an issue as the defense has to either stretch itself thin or shade to Irving.

JR isn't a creator though. Our offense is predicated on LeBron or Kyrie penetrating to the basket, sucking in the defense, then dishing out to open shooters for a three or a drop off pass and dunk. Delly can do this at times, but only when the threat of one of those guys is also there.

If you want to see what JR looks like trying to create, go watch his awfulness in NY.

Too much LeBron iso. He came right out of the gate last night pounding the ball.

I'm rewatching the Rockets/Clipps game - these guys run the offense and they don't pound the ball very often.

I don't mind LeBron ISOing, getting to the rim, and getting a layup or kickout for some ball movement.... I just don't want to see any jumpers man. They are killing me

LeBron's great strength is his mind, as he plays basketball as a chess match.

It's also his great weakness, as he tends to overthink, and trying to work out too many options. You can see and feel him hesitating when he gets in this mode, exacerbating the iso possessions.

In his greatest games (G5 at the Palace, G6 at Boston), he reduced the options in his mind.

^ in several of his big games he arrives at the arena early and spends extra time preparing and getting locked in before tipoff. There was a reference in one of the post game pressers that the team arrived late. I imagine there were traffic issues.

During the game the commentators said that LeBron and JR arrived an hour before the rest of the team for shootaround, at 8:40AM.

I like him attacking the basket too, but sooner or later he's going to have to hit jump shots. The Bulls are just going to go under screen, back the hell off, and crowd the paint.

Every basket he gets, he's earning, and it's taking a hell of a lot out of him.

People keep ignoring the fact, LeBron takes a lot of abuse. He's a big guy, I get it, but he's taken a physical pounding probably more than anyone that's ever played the game.

Simply attacking the basket at will, is not something he can do throughout the game anymore, without being extremely fatigued. Not in playoff games like this.

I think he ran out of gas. He was tired. He attacked, and attacked, and it wore him down.

LeBron has got to be able to hit his shots with more consistency. I don't like him hoisting off balance, isolation 27 feet jumpers, but he's going to have to at least be a threat with his shot.

If not, we might be in a lot of trouble. He's 30 years old, he's got to start altering his game, and be more perimeter oriented. All the great attacking players make that adjustment when they turn 30. The Jordan's, Kobe's, etc, the body can't withstand the same abuse.

LeBron made more of that transition in Miami, but his jumper really fell off this year.
