All we need is TWO regular shooting/less turnover games from LeBron and we take this series.

He's gotta be due right? Right?
Regular shooting? At this point I would take a 40% game. He took 30 shots, a good chunk of those layups, and only had 4 fts.

When he hit that shot, all I said was fuck you Derrick Rose, and changed the channel.

I couldn't listen to another second of those two clowns talking about the free timeout that the refs gave to Chicago while they reviewed to try and give Chicago the ball.

That's like saying that you respect a judge for over-ruling the jury on an obvious verdict and it's ok because his former Assistant DA is the DA on the case.

It's inexcusable. OBVIOUSLY, there's a lot less at stake here. But it doesn't make it any less embarrassing. Van Gundy sucks. Jackson sucks too, but he's too dull to know he sucks.

Your analogy doesn't make sense because JVG can't affect the outcome of the game. The most appropriate analogy would be I respect a newspaper reporter for writing an opinion piece contrary to an obvious jury outcome because he's had a long standing relationship to the DA and he gets unnamed sources that way.

LeBron hit the best buzzer beater ever by a player wearing #23 at the United Center.

You know, you actually could be right. Jordan's greatest shots all seem to happen away from home, which makes it even more crazy

It works.

He definitely doesn't affect the outcome of the game. He affects the outcome of the broadcast.

And he does it in a negative way, whether because of bias or because he's just an attention whore.

And in this case, I don't think loyalty to a coach involved in the game is an excuse to suck and subject a captive audience to shitty broadcasting.

He affects the perception viewers will have of the officiating on the game, but not the officiating or the actual play on the court. Are the players or coaches going to spend any time worrying about what JVG said on the broadcast?

Also, JVG is loyal to just Thibs, he actually hates the Bulls. Just recall the Bulls/Heat game this season when he spent basically 5 minutes ripping the Bulls FO. It's his thing, he's sticking up for his boy and it really isn't something to get riled up about.

I really really want Lebron to have an iconic game at home tomorrow. 45 pts/15 reb/10 assists on 15/24 shooting or something PLEASE

If he actually made a few of his chucks earlier then he wouldn't need a game winng chuck.

Charles I love, Hubie was unbearable during the Boston series... All sorts of Celtics favoritism.

That's just the way Hubie announces, he tells you what the losing team needs to do.

JVG is the absolute worst announcer. It's not just yesterday, he's constantly whining about the rules and other things that detract from the game he's announcing. Yesterday was great drama completely lost to JVG

The video of plays like that live on. Normally the call lives on with the play. Such as Marv Albert's "LeBron James with no regard for human life" quote. Van Gundy ensured that the live play call will have to be replaced with the radio call.

ESPN should be furious with him for detracting from the moment like that.
Kevin Harlan not Marv
