Looking Ahead: 2013-2014 Cleveland Cavaliers

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I don't know why people act like the Cavs absolutely have to hit the salary cap floor. If they don't hit it all that happens is they take whatever amount they're short and disperse it evenly amongst their current roster.

eeeh. I think this is the kind of year to find players and give them big deals, but front load them. similar to what OKC did with Collison.

The new CBA does not allow any significant frontloading of contracts. Collison deal is a product of a previous era and can't be duplicated.

I'm just saying, people act like we're going to get punished if we don't get to the salary floor. If you can make some good additions, I'm all for it, but we don't need to go sign guys just in a attempt to reach the floor.

A healthy Varejao is essentially the equivalent of acquiring an All-Star.

When was the last time that Varejao was healthy?
