The DSJr rumors are starting to show up... What would you do? Keep the young duo? Who can they get?
Luka is so skilled that it’s hard to say if it’s really worth waiting for someone like DS to develope. If you can get a reasonably young starter (some DeRozan rumors) for him (and probably a lot more added), you do it.

We could’ve had this kid, instead we’re stuck with a fast Manny Harris that can’t pass.

I say keep DSJ unless a really good deal comes along. They won't be able to contend right away anyway until the GSW era is over. DeRozan doesn't seem like a good fit with Doncic too. DeMar needs the ball in his hands (and taking the ball away from Doncic doesn't seem like a good idea), he also can't stretch the floor, and is a notorious playoff choker... Klay Thompson would be such an amazing fit next to Luka.

Klay would look good but I don't think he leaves GS and if I'm Dallas the first thing I'd do because of Luka is find a replacement for Dirk who is between 25-27, someone like Tobias Harris would look great at the 4 next to Luka.

The next thing should be finding another guy who can handle the ball periodically and knock down shots so keeping Smith Jr though this season and moving him at the draft or in a sign & trade if he doesn't work out would makes the most sense. Hopefully they embrace some of the concepts for position-less ball and run Luka at the point. ( I think Beal and McCollum would look good next to Luka as well as Klay but leaving them more $ / assets than if they would acquire Klay)

WTF was that final possession by DSJ... Luka should have gotten the final shot.
 
Doncic has made 21 of the Mavs' 46 clutch field goals so far this season, and assisted on another 7. Barnes is second with 11 clutch field goals, and no other Mav has more than 5.
 
Two years ago, Doncic put himself on the map in a preseason game against Westbrook and the Thunder. Tonight they finally meet again. This should be fun...
