Danny Green plays his role excellently though. He's scrappy, good defender, and a terrific shooter. He's a good role player and teams need good role players. Manny might be a more talented basketball player but he's not talented enough to really do the things that he is good at (scoring lots of points) for it to be an impact in the NBA. Danny Green's scrappyness and shooting are definitely worthwhile in the NBA though.

I think the Cavs have had 1 real practice since March 17. I don't think there has been sufficient practice time to evaluate Manny since that time. Instead, Byron is using the games to evaluate all of the players on the roster because he doesn't have enough opportunity to evaluate them in other situations.

Well, he had 5 straight games of 15+ minutes & managed to go 13-40 from the field. He then got 11 minutes the game after & missed all 4 shot attempts.

He's played in 6 minutes in the 3 games since then.

What I heard the problem is that AP's passport is expired and thus cant travel out of the country to Canada or New Jersey.

Manny's shooting has been pretty bad, but he seems to be a good defender. He is good on the ball and closes out fast. I think if he gets some time he will adjust and start putting up some scoring. The few times he penetrated and got to the rack he looked good and either finished or drew the foul. I dunno, I think he seems like maybe he hasn't grasped the offense as well as he should, and that is why Hudson is ahead of him. Sloan is just a better ball handler and playmaker, so that is no surprise.
