Anyway this whole thing is ridiculous. Manti's cover up story is absolute bullshit that only the biggest ND homers would believe. What an absolutely horrible idea this was.

It's going to suck when he becomes a Raven, the NFL makes us all forget about this, and he leads their dominating D for the next 15 years replacing Lewis.

I'd like to hear Godfather's take on this whole thing as a ND fan who did a lot of Te'o slurping earlier in the year.

That was mostly a tongue in cheek comment about the Browns' luck and the Ravens' fondness for morally questionable LBs. Not really commenting on Te'o's ability.

This is one of the more bizarre thing I have seen in sports.

It brings to mind a HS student who played football and wasn't as big of a recruit that he thought he would be, but played up the lie at school and around friends to elevate how he looked.
