Matthew Dellavedova

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
No it's a choice. i am sur most people who played here got by by being willing to sacrifice their bodies.

Heart isn't a talent. Some guys you don't want diving for balls though. Like when Price got injured going into a table.

But he reminds me of that random quote of Delonte Something like "you can't measure heart, when I'm out there I'm 7'6", I'm yao ming".

Having a high motor is not a skill. It's how you make it when you aren't as naturally gifted. Just like intelligence. People work and get by by being smart and doing the minimum some people just work harder than anybody.

I guess you misunderstood I don't believe on talent. But that's for another thread (in fact it's problem buried deep in OT section from 2013). Anyway delly proves it's better to have a 7/10 player giving 100% than a 9/10 player giving 50% here's hoping he can drive steph and klay crazy

You got put size on Steph, that's what works. You're not going to stop him, he's going to score. But if you put size on him, you can force him into difficult shots.

The Cavs are going to have to hedge hard on him, trap him, double him a lot too.

I think you dare everyone else to beat you, including Klay Thompson.

I've watched a lot of Golden State, and a switching defense, like the Cavaliers have played since Shumpert was bumped into the starting lineup, slows them down. The key is closing out on three point shots, which the Cavaliers have done all playoffs.

The Cavaliers will be challenged by Golden State putting up 12 -0 runs or 20 - 0 runs in the blink of an eye. They can go on scoring runs better than any other NBA team this year. And that is why Kyrie and JR Smith are so key. The Cavaliers will have to make huge scoring bursts several times a game against Golden State, not just one or two a game then grind the opponent down.

Delly is a dirty, good for nothing scumbag who can go screw his mother!

Oh, don't get me wrong. I love him. His heart and hustle. Tough team player. Does whatever is asked of him.

But he roots for Collingwood in the AFL. That just puts him on a level from which he can never be redeemed. What's the American comparison? Patriots maybe?

Anyway, go kick some ass in the NBA finals Delly.....but when the NBA season is over you can go fuck yourself. #australianstuffamericanswontunderstand

but really...I love the kid.

A lot of people seem to be using 'talent' as shorthand for 'athletic ability'.

I agree with this. Also, court awareness is a talent and natural gift. He has a really high ball IQ and knows the moment and what is going on on the court. Just watch him foul in transition. Says it all.

I’m glad Horford wasn’t suspended for game 4, that allowed us to mop the floor with his bitch ass and made his ass sit on the bench while we were up 20 points late in the game and watch us pound them on our way to the finals with a sweep of his team filled with players soft as toilet paper… That’s a good comparison because we wiped our ass with them. And he should watch our team closely so he can see what a real brotherhood looks like. Oh, and Bazemore… Does us beating your ass 4 straight games without our all-star power forward prove us as the better team yet? Or are the Hawks still the “better” team? Sorry to break it to you Bazemore but Boston gave us a better fight.

And don’t you dare call Delly dirty after I watched Teague drill Delly with intentional elbows to the face all series long with no fouls being called. Then Horford used a WWE move on Delly… Almost forgot the shoulder Bazemore threw into Delly running full speed at half court while chasing his man. Delly is tougher than all those pussies in Atlanta. Delly had a hell of a series! Love that dude.

The last two afterthought PGs to step up in the playoffs are both Saint Mary's grads from Australia... Patty Mills and Delly.
What Delly has done is INSANE. Most had us projected to take another PG in the Draft... now, if we lock him up, we can chase another position maybe?

I still think we should get another PG in the draft, for depth purposes.
Preferebaly one with good handling. Because when Delly runs the offense I cringe. He is a great player and has great advantages, but his handling is off and at times he just brain farts all over. We need some depth.

I'd rather target an athletic wing with upside or a project big man. Point guards are a dime a dozen in the NBA.

Just saw a replay of first take.

Fuck you Stephan A

I find what he said about Australians extremely offensive. We go hard, don't die wondering. If what happened to Korver happened here there not a thing would have been mentioned about Delly but there would be questions raised about Korvers toughness. I am a coach, and we teach kids that if you go if you go in soft, you are going to get hurt.

Brotherhood, fuck that. It's a mans game, and part of why you get paid millions is the chance you might get hurt. I am loath to think that we might not be seeing 100% effort in across the NBA .

I hope he runs into an Aron Baynes pick
