Matthew Dellavedova

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
wtf is with fear the swords Delly hate? Their season preview was harsh.

I call racist.

So because their preview was harsh, you are calling them racist?

Just makes you wonder if they are paying attention. I guess we all know we pulled out wins last year because of this guy, and that he kept our nonexistant offense actually working while he was in. Yeah, he is not the prettiest player to watch, but he gets the job done and makes other players better. He is a coach on the floor, and that is very valuable.

He was even ranked as a top 10 rookie last year by some accounts. That is amazing for someone who was undrafted. I doubt he ever starts a whole season at pg, but he is going to have a long NBA career.

Loved his energy while guarding dirk! He has to show he can hit the open three, but if he does that, no reason he can't be an asset with his defensive tenacity

I always thought Waiters and Delly had good chemistry. Waiters seemed to reflect back Delly's hard work when they were on the floor together and they seemed to share the ball well.

The Cavs have been very pleased with Matthew Dellavedova, who started three games at point guard while Kyrie Irving rested his sprained ankle. Dellavedova understands Blatt's offense. He keeps the ball moving. He is a gritty defender against opposing point guards. He blends well with Dion Waiters in the backcourt. The Cavs don't care about his scoring stats because he is surrounded by so many shooters.

I knew he could guard all five positions. :chuckle:

Good grief, does FTS realize that he's a backup PG who will be playing 10-12 minutes/night, if that?

If the biggest thing we have to worry about is his shooting %, then we're in pretty damn good shape with him.

The thing I like most about him, is that he's not intimidated in running the offense, even with the starters. You see him out there, showing guys where to go, pointing guys out to go through or come to the ball, etc.

Please, please change the dumbass nickname in the title.
