I sorta agree, but I'd definitely go with the lower end of that range, maybe even 2 losses.

They'll be good in the future though...

They got absolutely demolished yesterday. I was watching the game yesterday with a Miamian and I made two predictions before the game:

(1) VaTech would be up 14-0 by the end of the first quarter

(2) VaTech would win 31-21

I was damn close. That RB Ryan Williams for VaTech looked pretty damn good yesterday. He looks for contact and seems to fall forward the large majority of the time. I'm surprised they don't pass him the ball more, because he's averaging 20 yards per pass catch on 6 catches this year.

He's not real big at 5'10, 205 but he's a freshman and might be able to pack on 10-15 more lbs. I'll be interested to see what happens with him over the next 2 years.

Please. They played at Blacksburg, one of the toughest places to play, in shit conditions against a very very very good VTech team. They obliterated a very good Gtech team. If they can beat Okla, will they be overrated? Again, how can a team be overrated that was suppose to be crap to begin with? They're overachieving.

And yes, they are a year away. They have 5 first rounders on that team, all of which went to the same damn high school

When they beat GT (which was a rather lucky game, they are not 16 pts better than GT), everyone started claiming that "the u is back" and "they're national title contenders" and all this other nonsense, when in fact, they are not. That is overrating, caused by overachieving.

They can be correlated, but it's not the rule. How can you say they don't have a good squad? I definitely agree that this isn't their year and that they could be overachieving, but perhaps it's the talent is coming to fruition. Next year should be their year.

I'm not even a Cane fan, I just like when they're good.
