I'm only watching this because I'm..

A) Craving some bball that counts in the standings..
B) Scouting 2 supposed contenders in the East

Here's what I've drawn from the game so far..

Shaq has considerably aged from last year to this year, he looks 15% worse. Slower, getting swatted by Wallace and Tyrus, just look lost overall.

Wade's jumper has improved..remarkable how he banked a shot with a foot on the 3 point line, needs to be more assertive though.

Alonzo Mourning has the body of a 24 year old..

The new ball sucks and thats why there are 500 boards and 30 points..

This is a lose lose game for the Cavaliers...either

A) The Bulls win and the Wallace signing was amazing and the Bulls are FO SHIZZLE..
B) The Heat win and are the defending champs and everyone needs to be scared and recognize and etc..Wade is god Shaq has a lot left in the tank.

I'd rather the Heat win.. better for the Central Division standings..

Tyrus Thomas looks like a beast..

Ben Wallace has done a good job defensively.. But the frontcourt is terrible when it comes to offense

Like you said, Shaq has really aged...

Tyrus had a sick putback dunk and some blocks..drew some fouls..I remember getting raped for picking him 1st in the RCF Mock Draft :chuckles:

Technicals being handed around like mardi gras beads..

I just started watching - was at a damn Halloween party for the neighbors. And they didn't have the damn game on....and we live in Chicago. I wanted to smack them.

Having people over tomorrow for beers and Cavs - can't wait.

Bulls nearly double up the Heat

59-30

Not a good day for the Heat.

Walker OFER 6 from three point land, Heat out rebounded 42 to 26. Lots of turnovers on both sides but Chicago converting them to points.

Chris Duhon goes 7-8 including three downtown plus three assists and two rebounds in fifteen minutes. Guess he likes the new ball!

Looks like a scrub game at this point Miami down by 40, posey the only real player on the court. Thabo has not missed a shot.

Heat win 108-66..

They won by 42 :uhh:

Tyrus owned Shaq twice :chuckles:

Bulls hit every shot they took... 1000% for the game..

The Heat clearly went to the game as Ghosts tonight... Or, those 50lbs rings they got really hurt their fingers...

whys that? because its easier to grip??

if im right in thinking what the new ball feels like, i feel sorry for the guys having to use it...synthetic over leather?? really...get the fk outta here:thumbdown

In a test done by scientists at a college requested by Mark Cuban the balls when dropped from 4 feet bounce lower then the old ones.

And bounce 30% more erratically..

Wade before the season said "Scoring will be down and rebounding will be up" he seems to like the grip because he banked a jumper with a foot on the line..

The best basketballs to play with (indoors) are the ones with a little wear and tear on them... The ones that are 'broke-in'

The new basketballs feel brand new when you play with 'em... I've played with the new ball twice, and it's nice in the beginning.. And are perfect for grip if you're in a shooting contest.. But, after you work up a sweat and the ball gets sweaty, it really feels slick, like it's brand new...The old balls just absorb it, and never really got slick..

They're not bad enough to put up a HUGE fuss about it... However, there is a noticeable difference..

Chicago looked good out there and the Heat looked terrible. Wallace, PJ Brown, and Tyrus Thomas give them a formidable presence down low. They were able to get Shaq in foul trouble and keep him out of his rhythm most of the game. We'll see how the Cavs front court does against them soon enough. I still didn't see much from the Bulls by way of frount court scoring though. They basically got all jump shots which were for the most part open looks. The Heat weren't doing much of anything besides kissing their championship rings.

We'll be able to rebound just as well or even better than the Bulls.. The Bulls killed the Heat on the boards last night, to go along with shooting a crazy %

The shots will not fall every night, and there's ZERO chance the Bulls out-rebound us like they did the Heat... Heat look old, and Wade can't carry a team for a full 82...

They better get their act together quickly..

So much for Chicagos Interior defense...Dwight punched them in the mouth tonight..
