Miller begins finger reconstruction

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think I forgot to tell this story on here:

When I was at a sales training recently, I was talking to a guy who played ball at Mississippi Gulf Coast CC. At breaks he was texting back and forth on the phone with one of his college buddies. He mentioned that the guy was a pitcher who was coming up in the Tribe's organization, but someone I probably wouldn't have heard of. I told him I was a big Tribe fan and that if he had any experience at the MLB level, I'd definitely know he was.

The kid turned out to be Tony Sipp. I told the guy to send Tony a message that he's got a bunch of fans in Cleveland even if Wedge is too stupid to play him. He didn't say much in response to the Wedge comment other than "thanks lol" or something along those lines.

So there's my recent brush with greatness. :chuckles:

Wow, you waited until 4AM to tell that crap story? I thought you were gonna say you and Sipp went out and pounded patron.

Your mother introduced herself as "Dorothy." She didn't mention the nickname "Patron" at any point.

I never thought the tip of one finger could mean so much in Major League Baseball:

Look, Miller was, hands down, one of the best prospects in baseball for quite a while. Let's not act as if the kid was just some prospect. Dude had tons and tons of potential...and showed it when he was healthy. We now have a plethora of young arms. if he can come back, awesome.

I think we all know just how good he was. Like I said, I remember when we wouldn't trade this guy for Jason Bay or Miguel Cabrera. It's safe to say it will probably never be realized barring a miracle, now, though.

OIC.

He might be able to comeback, obviously he'll never be a starter, but he could come out of the bullpen and have a better chance of staying healthy. There is nothing to lose next year so if he says he's healthy then, you give him a shot.
