I'm guessing this is the right place to put this thread, right?

Start at around the halfway point.

A few of the things he said (paraphrasing):

Kobe is the greatest player since me.

I lost two and a half years of my career due to my injury and then my hiatus.

Lebron is not a great overall basketball player. Lebron barrels down the court. He has no finesse game.

Lebron doesn't have my jumper or my abilities.

Kobe is the best overall player in the game of basketball.

Lebron isn't going to last another 4-5 years in the league because of his style of play. He will get way too worn down with the minutes and constant driving plus the lack of finesse game.

Carmelo Anthony is realizing his potential(better than LeBron?).

^I took all of that from another poster from another site, so don't hurt me!

He sounds threatened if this is indeed his words. No finesse? My ass the guy has sick handles, crazy court vision and can finish with his offhand better than anyone in the game. Carmelo will never be close to LeBron. They were only close their rookie years and Bron hit the NOS and lapped his ass.

Michael Jordan is like Paul McCartney. Incredibly talented in their own right, but when you come right down to it, they are stupid and self centered.

When I went to the half way point, all I heard was Jordan talking about himself and how he "could've been the leading scorer of all time". The guy get's so much praise and spends his time praising himself after someone asks about comparisons to LeBron.

You cannot tell me LeBron has no finesse game with the way he finishes. It's not like all of his moves end with "dunking over Patrick Ewing", there is a lot to LeBron's game and he hasn't even met his potential.

I think because MJ was around when Kobe started and since he actually plays his style, MJ is willing to praise Kobe. To him, LeBron is just a kid who controls a game almost completely with his athleticism. To be knocking on LeBron as if he won't last past 30 is pretty petty too. Yes, we know you were the greatest MJ, but nobody said anything about smartest. I think he's just scared that LBJ's business techniques are making him catch Jordan fast in endorsements already.

Big mistake.

In all honesty, if that really is Jordan, I think he's offering LeBron a challenge.

Some of the interview sounds like Jordan's voice, but he talks a lot different than he used to. Either way, he's obviously competitive and there's no reason he should admit to LJ being as good as him in the areas he mentioned, finesse, and jumpshot. He might be right too btw.

Nobody says you have stop talking trash just because you're old and retired.

Plus, the radio hosts keep emphasizing "OUR MJ". As if it's a guy who does MJ impersonations for the show. But he's really good, so I'm still confused.

Doesn't sound like him to me.

Plus this would be bad business if he actually did say this. Makes no sense.

1. I hope it wasn't him but if it is I stand by my first comment.

2. Change the thread title to "MJ said some things I don't like".

3. I'm never watching Space Jam again lqtm.

He is correct on most points. LeBron hasn't perfected the game like M.J. LeBron still hasn't reached his peak & there is more room for greatness.

MJ is just hatin just like everyone else because they are all of afraid of LeBron takin the throne.

Is this the first time MJ has spoke out about LBJ's ability's in a bad way?

He is going to better than jordan anyway.

When's the last time Jordan correctly evaluated a player?

Lol, never!

Is this the first time MJ has spoke out about LBJ's ability's in a bad way?

No, he said that LeBrons strength was gonna hurt him going into the NBA because that is something you develop in the NBA:confused:

Why didn't MJ talk about the main thing LeBron has that is so much ahead of both his and Kobe..........court vision and passing. He sounds threatened. He made LeBron seem like just an athlete with 0 skills.

So MJ has been threatened for awhile now, thanks it explains a lot.:chuckles:
