Mock Draft 23 Commentary!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
FAU is another guy I'll stick my neck out for.

I think he's a tremendous edge, and isn't just a situational pass rusher--I'm fine with him playing against the run as well.

Based on the Youtube videos and “expert” write ups I’ve seen, agreed. I really considered him at 31.

@G00seY3 congrats on replacing MVS with a better version of himself
Have my drafting glasses on and hoping he's more Tyreek Hill than MVS lol. He's very boom or bust in my eyes, but at 56, 100% worth any risk (don't believe he falls this far in the actual draft and think a team takes a chance in the 1st round). I do believe the Chiefs provide him with the best chance to succeed and develop over the next few years.

Was highly considering Bresee, FAU, and Hyatt at 31, so very happy to come away with 2 out of the 3.

Hyatt pretty much can only run a 9.

He's very good at it--but he has zero quickness or twitchy agility that Tyreek had.

The dude's scary fast in a straight line. Corners gave him a 10 yard cushion and he still just ran right at them and kept going

That’s why I went with Mims. He seems a little more versatile, which is ideal for a Detroit team that is already fielding St. Brown and Jameson Williams. He can work out of the slot and pick up YAC but can also run vertical routes. Can also be a special teams returner.

My aversion to the Tennessee passing attack weapons is their gimmicky offense. I just don't trust Hyatt despite his numbers. However the Mahomes and Reid combo is going to bring out the best in any fast receiver.

@Stark I hope you liked the Maryland tackle. I thought he provided you value at an area of weakness.

And the Bengals just made my favorite pick of the round. Adebawore could end up a first rounder in the real draft. His athleticism at his size breaks the mold.

Love Adebawore too!! Was shocked he was still there at 60!

I am at pick 63 with the Jags and I work til 5 so if my pick comes up, I will pick after work!

My hot take? I think Duncan there is better than Freeland at 45.

I think Freeland is going to have the Desmond Harrison problem at the next level. It doesn't matter how athletic you look and how well you can move in space if you can't stand up to an NFL defensive lineman bull-rushing you straight back into your QB.

Guy has fun athletic testing, but he isn't strong enough to play in the NFL.

Zach Harrison was Duncan's daddy in the OSU matchup this year, but Duncan undeniably has every tool there is to succeed at the NFL level.

Just far from a finished product.
