More "Progressive Field" Renovations Planned

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I've actually never been but this is a regular item at Happy Dog from what I've heard. They had me up until the Froot Loops.

Apparently it is surprisingly really good (if you've ever had Happy Dog, specifically their tots, you know they make good stuff)...had a few friends do the behind the scenes walk through of the renovations since they are season ticket holders in the area they were made and they both got one of those since they were advertising it rather heavily. Not sure I'd try it though, I'm more of a traditionalist with the generic Sugardale and Bertman's.

Saw the renovations last night - the club area behind home plate is spectacular. The new netting is going to be the "storage containers" of 2016 - everyone is going to bitch about them constantly. Also seemed like the park was windier than normal - but could've just been random.

The new food options are all cool but really expensive. The Barrio / Dynomite stuff from last year was pricey but you could still justify it. Most of the new stuff was around $13.

Standing room in left field is nothing special but I think adding more standing room was a good idea.
But we were told all these food options were to please the fans....not to make money?

Big system ran through Ohio yesterday. Had 40-50mph winds down here in Columbus. Just got caught on a really windy day.

As for the Happy Dog thing, that seems to be the thing going around now. "Crazy, weird creations." Just had one of those donut shops open down here with crazy toppings on them like fruit loops, candy bars, etc..

And always remember, how do they usually make their money at games, besides beer? KIDS. A kid is going to hear about a hot dog with fruit loops on them, eat the fruit loops and not want the rest, for $13.

You can go to this website and just see some of the crazy shit people have. A hamburger patty between 2 pizzas? Atlanta has us beat.

Now for someone like me, I could care less. I will still get drunk before the games at Panini's or somewhere, eat there as well, then get 2-3 big beers at the game.
