considering i work at GM i think i can afford one... there not going to be a whole lot more then 360... ps3 will have alot more to offer, like better games, but thats common since because ps2 had way bettter games then xbox and if some tells u other wise they are pretty stupid... plus a whole lot of bonus shit is in it... i cant wait...

YOU think that the PS2 had better games. I dont agree. I chose the Origina Xbox because of the games that IT had. I like HALO, Splinter Cell, Project Gotham Racing, etc...
PLUS, IT HAD X-LIVE...someting Fony can't compete with.

JUST CAUSE YOU CAN AFFORD 1, DOES NOT MEAN THAT 100 Million (100 mill PS2 sold) WILL BE ABLE TO.

Let me explain to you why the PS2 sold more than Xbox:

1. Grand Theft Auto 3 and Vice City

2. Came out 1 and 1/2 year earlier than the Xbox

3. The brand name behind it.


True the PS2 had A LOT of games, but 95% of the games SUCKED! Not true? Here are PS2's most popular and only good titles:

1. Final Fantasy 3,000,000 or however many there are.

2. GTA series

3. Grand Tourimo 3-4.

4. Metal Gear Solid (Personal Favorite series).


The Xbox offered me:

1. Kick ass games I liked.

2. X-LIVE

3. Hard Drive

4. 4 Controller ports for when I want more than 1 friend to play multiplayer with me.

5. Multiple players online from 1 console.- I had 4 people in my living room play online at the same time while playing against 12 other players in Halo 2 online.

6. The controller S kicked ass. -Best controller for First PErson Shooters.

7. Vast majority of games of preference.- The PS2's majority of the games were RPGs.


Ya, a whole bunch of bonus "shit" are in it, but u wount get those in the base PS3. U lose a whole lot of "shit" in the $500 option. And most of this bonus "shit", I would never have a use for.

When the PS3 comes out, the prices of the 360 are falling. Then would be prices will be:

360 Base-$200, 360 Premium-$300!


THE PS3 will have a rip-off controller, rip-off online, rip-off ideas, and tired old games that it is incredible how people dont get tired of 12-13 Final Fantasy titles, or Grand Tourismo 5. There will also be 2 million other RPGs shoved in there.

The 360 will have too many fresh new series to count such as Gears of WAr, Mass Effect, Too Human, etc.

Oh, did I mention that the tables have turned?

1. X360 gets Grand Theft Auto 4 PLUS exclusive content downloadable via XBOX LIVE.

2. The PRICE. Half the price when the PS3 rolls around.

3. Come out 1 year in advance of the PS3.

4. Now there is a know Brand Name behind the 360.

5. It has Microsof behind it, and they will be at the top...at whatever the cost.


I will get the 360 ($200). 20 Gig Hard Drive ($50). 2nd contoller ($40). 3 games ($150). X-LIVE (50). Tax ($40). TOTAL=$530!!! And all THAT for still $10 LESS than a PS3 with no games, no extra controller, or anything, plus tax!

You tell me whats better!

This is about the Xbox360. And games that I want to get for the XBOX360. I want to get those games and the XBOX360 when the prices go down. But right now, I DONT OWN OR PLAY THE XBOX360. AND THE ORIGINAL XBOX IS COLLECTING DUST IN MY CLOSET CAUSE IM NOT INTERESTED IN IT! The reason I want to get the XBOX360 is because it is new, and maybe it will get me back into gaming. RIGHT NOW, I DONT LIKE VIDEO GAMES ANYMORE. Those games that I listed will look like the best games for the next 2 years, and if those games can't get me back into gaming, then I probably never will again! This thread was made during E3. I have always covered E3 because I used to be a hardcore games....BUT NOT ANYMORE!
