1st and foremost, if anything, getting blown out was a good thing for this team. Just shows how much more we need to do to become an "elite" team in the east. Speaking of the east, isn't it amazing how the balance of power has sh ifted so much from the west to the east? I mean, look at it: Pistons/Pacers/Heat/Cavs at the top...add in philly and NJ in the mix. Now look at the West: you have the Spurs/Dallas/CLIPPERS! and add phoenix to the mix...not even comparable.

Anyways, this team is relying on the outside shot WAY WAY too much...and last night proved it. Z should have had a field day, yet he got into foul trouble early and couldn't produce. Marshall hasn't been on target lately but it could just be a minor slump. Gooden is our only CONSISTENT player. When i say consistent, i mean you know he will come close to a double double every night. LeBron settles for outside shots and forces some stuff up. I am not saying Gooden is better than lebron by any means, cause if i did, you should boot me. But my point is the outside/in game needs to cease. We need to go inside/out and have gooden/Z dish it back out and swing it cross court for an open J or dump it back inside for a nice look.

Mike Brown is a great coach. He kept his poise and was correct in saying the shots will go down, justc oncentrate on defense. Well, the shots didn't go down and we played alrigth defense minus giving up 3ball after 3ball...Jsakivicious was on fire but i am not speakiing for him...anyone can light it up at any given moment.

Bottom line, tough loss, but a good one. brings us down to earth a bit.

Although nothing has been mentioned ...Donyell has been off but he has also been playing through a tough bout with the flu ....he's been pretty weak and out of sync for the past couple games. He has played tough through it, but, has obviously been a little weak, and it has shown in his long range shooting the most ...

Artest spanked Lebron tonight. Hopefully the embarassment will light a fire under LBJ's ass to become the player he should be all that much sooner. The perimeter D was very weak tonight. To many wide open 3's, WIDE OPEN. It does show that we cannot compete with the better teams yet, hopefully we will improve as the season moves on.
