Thats the whole point. If Notre Dame loses, I have 500 people following me around to every forum, OT, EAYOR, Browns and Cavs to reply to something I said with something with ND. Do I cry about it? No. Do I edit the posts? No. I could care less.

You all look like big jackasses when you do it. But when the tables reverse, you are damn right I am going to reply and put it on full force.

So from what I see, people post non stop horrible post? I highly doubt it. You can't really talk shit though, man. WE made it to the CHAMPIONSHIP. You're ND people where fishing in the shit bowl.

If you havent been here, then shut your mouth. If you don't know what you are talking about, then why talk? I hope I am annoying, that is the damn point.

Not that it matters, I've been here for a while, just never posted nor signed in. I'd read lots of thoughts and post on here, and I just started to posting again. Being annoying is the damn point, huh? Looks to me you just want some people to notice you.

I would love to know what the coaches do on their 50+ days to prepare. I mean, other than design lame delayed blitzes that never get through, put together a bunch of straight drop back passes that take too long to develop, and an all around vanilla scheme on both sides of the ball that are little match for a talented, creative team.

Why was Tress calling plays like Boeckman was Troy Smith and Hartline and Robiskie were Ted Ginn and Santonio Holmes? Did he forget that they are possession receives who need to be running quick slants, screens, outs, etc? They wasted so many 1st down by running deep routes that never came close to being open. Wells was running great all night and JT gets carried away with the passing game that never got on track. 3rd and 4 in 4 down territory, you MUST give the ball to Beanie. He has 2 cracks at getting 4 yards. That's a no brainer.

Heacock again shows that he is overmatched by an offense that can spread the field and keep you off balance. If LSU didn't shoot themselves in the foot with a bad snap and a few broken plays, they may have scored a TD the first 6 times they touched the ball. What happened to learning from your mistakes against Florida?

Despite all that junk, they still had some opportunities. Those were quickly squandered by stupid penalties and foolish turnovers by Boeckman. The roughing the punter on 4th and 23 put the team on life support. Why in the hell are you rushing the punt in that situation anyway? Todd delivered the final nails by DA'ing some INTs up to nobody in particular over the middle of the field and Frye'ing up some sacks and a fumble by holding on to the ball way too long. On 4th and 7, YOU CAN NOT take a sack. Just throw the ball up for grabs if you have to. A punterception is way better than holding on to it and getting rocked.

Two straight years of being outcoached, outworked, and outsmarted. All the talk about being inspired by last year's set back and the lesson learned and we receive another lame ass performance. OSU is going to have be VERY impressive in the coming years to get a nod back into an NC game after these sad showings.

And A Mac - when Washington was put on the schedule, they were a national contender and were breaking the top 15 and I believe the top 10 every year. It's not our fault they never recruited. I guess to be fair we'll start a thread every time ND losses...that's what you want right? Equality. We can just call it the "Weekly Notre Lame Thread."

Why do we put up with him? He did this last year - anything bad happens to OSU in a big game, and he runs around saying " you can't stop me, you can't stop me, you can't stop me" just begging us to. He's using his time as a friend of Infante on this site as a tool to talk trash...how sad is that? I thought you'd give Glen more respect A Mac, but I was wrong. I thought you'd value what he's given to you - what he's given to all of us - but I was wrong.

We lost this game...last year we were dominated, but not last night. Robo's dropped TD catch led to LSU's lead, and the roughing the kicker on that punt looks like it sealed the deal. Coming out at halftime down by 14, OSU - for most of the 2nd half - shut down the LSU attack. We get the ball in that situation I really do think our attitude would be much different this morning. That stupid penalty looks like it was the nail in the coffin.

What struck me was the predictability of our playcalling after our 10 point lead. I was predicting most of our plays, and it wasn't the plays I was hoping we'd call. Simple sprints to the right, playaction passes that Todd never liked a WR option that was available. We didn't throw to TE's or RB's...it was all Robo and Hartline after our 10 point lead. Nothing that caught LSU off guard.

We had opportunities, like Boeckman's INT could have been six points if he leads Ray Small...stuff like that.



Now looking at it, it's great that LSU won in the Superdome in the wake of Katrina...a little similar to NE winning after 9/11. That's the kind of stuff that even though OSU lost, you have to smile for.

I, for one, enjoyed his postings from Bucknuts. That's a pay site ($100 per yr) for those that don't know, and provides Buckeye fans with some really great insight as to what is going on with the team. If Style is in fact gone, I hope that one of you who flamed him out of here can still provide this info. Otherwise it was a pretty significant loss to the OSU boards....

As for the game....

Agree w/ Pip, that Robiskie drop changed that game. Everything was panicked and downhill after he dropped that. He holds that, and we weathered LSU's storm, and the pressure is on them......As it turned out, we missed the kick, and the pressure was put on us to stop them.....

It is also my opinion that the FL game scarred that team....as soon as LSU started coming back, you could just see it.....OSU didn't think they could play with them.....for you soccer fans, it reminded me of when the US team plays a world soccer power like Italy or Brazil, no matter our talent level, our mindset is that you have to steal the win to win, not that you can actually outright beat them.

It was unfortunate it played out the way it did. I think Beanie was ready to break out for the masses, but playing from behind the whole second half made it tough to get him the ball. I question a lot in those 2nd and 3rd possessions as well. You can try and be cute w/ the pass to open things up for Wells, but once he breaks that run, I don't see how you don't just force LSU to stop him, and work the pass once LSU is playing 8 guys in the box. It was almost like they over thought the game plan....Just hand the ball to Wells....you have a lead, no matter how early, drain clock. Play Big Ten football, don't conform to their ways.

It was disappointing to say the least. It makes me worry about the USC game early next year. No way we get a BCS title chance again w/ one loss following those two performances.

The game was obviously a disappointment, but I don't have much to add - we pretty much beat ourselves. Robo didn't drop that TD, wasn't it knocked out? But the biggie for me is when that dude ran into the kicker. Had he blocked it, it would have bounced backwards, we would have had the numbers, and obviously you don't have to fall on it because it's your ball anyway. Just an odd missed block, since he was there so damn early.

D - decided to keep blitzing in the 1st half, which wasn't working. Looked good in the 2nd half for a bit, but so many damn missed tackles.

O - this pisses me off: can we run the damn ball?!?!? Jeez, how many throws on 1st down, mostly incomplete, then predictably, you have to run to help out wet noodle Boekman on 2nd down, then it's 3rd an 8. Grrrrr. Oh well, good season bucks, it's been fun! Too bad we couldn't finish it out the right way!

I couldn't agree more. I'm going to be real pissed if Style stops posting the Bucknuts stuff.

Mods, step in and resolve this situation fast...get Style back. If Mac doesn't like it then ban his immature ass. Is Mac a mod??? If he is that should change asap too.
