It always takes Z,JJ and a 2nd round pick to get Troy Murphy. That is always there counter trade. I usually do it:chuckles:

I don't think I had to give up JJ, but I think they countered with the 2nd now that say that. Can't say I remember. I'd give up JJ though, Troy Murphy has a nice touch.

Trade for them in the off-season, after the draft. Just scour through the teams who have around low 80's/lower than 80 players on their roster, and it's a good bet you'll get a lottery pick the next season.

I was able to pick up the Clippers, Grizzlies and Warriors first round picks in one off-season by trading a few 75 or so rated guys, and I've received many first round pick offers for Demarcus Cousins, who is a 70 with B potential.

Well I will put the team up later......but I was able to get Michael Redd and there first round pick WHICH...ended up to be John Wall(78 as a rookie).

If I need to get a high lottery pick I usually trade my pick and a pretty good player for a higher pick and a less talented player at the same position.

I picked up Bargnani in my Cavs franchise, can't remember who I traded... I think it was Varejao and a couple of draft picks... dude doesn't miss. He's only a 69 overall, but he seriously doesn't miss. He's averaging 18/10 as my starting 4.


I have a question about a glitch in Association, though... has anyone ever gotten through their first season, then had one team get EVERY pick in the first round of the following draft? And then, did none of your games show up the following year? I downloaded the patch but I haven't really been playing since MW2 came out.

Does anyone know how or where, I put the 2011 draft class in association? I'm in the second season but it never asked me to download the draft class. Now when I go to Scout, I can only scout NBA players...

Hmmm... It should ask you right at the beginning of each season. If the season already started it's probably too late. I don't know what else to tell you.
