The game comes out in...oh about 3 months so I figure I'd kick off the NBA 2K10 thread...big news here, Kobe's going to be on the cover. The commercial is going to be on during the NBA Finals tonight...but apparently 2K is going to let the fans vote which Kobe cover in:

Personally I'd just like to see them fix Team-Up and spend loads of time on graphics and animations. Then of course take all the good ideas that were terribly implemented in Live '10 and make them better for 2K10.

EDIT: Oh yeah, get rid of the blown gimme layups and unnecessary charging. Plus players should not be able to be immediately double teamed when in full sprint :chuckles:

If MJ isn't in it's probably not 2k sports fault. Jordan makes everyone who wants to use his image sign a deal with him exclusively, and doesn't go through the nba players association. That's why he hasn't been in a video game since before NBA Jam, nobody wants to pay the ridiculous extra fee to include jordan. Especially now that he's not even playing.

Shaq tried the same thing for a few years, didn't work out so well. It's generally a pretty stupid idea on the players part.

False. He was in a couple of Live games. I know for sure he's in Live 2002 as a member of the Washington Wizards as well as part of the '90's All-Star Team.

I want the draft classes in the association to be more flexible. I guess I don't mind having to edit the players but you should be able to edit more about them...face, race, hair, and thier portraits should be of the actual in-game model like JJ Hickson and Jason Thompson rather than a darker looking sasha or a penny hardaway lookalike. Should not be to hard for them to fix.
