This is the thread dedicated to 2k11. There is a thread announcing that Jordan is on the cover but this is for the game specifically. Reason I am creating is because....

THE OFFICIAL COVER IS OUT TODAY!!!!

Putting a retired player on the cover?!?!?!?

Hope this game lives up to the high standard Larry Bird Vs. Michael Jordan set...
NBA Live I mean Elite>2K whatever

Ok I don't want this to turn into a freakin Elite vs 2k thread. If you don't like 2k than don't post in this thread.

Fair enough.
I apologize, don't want to be 'that guy'

2k has always been my choice over Live. Most will said they have problems with 2K, but I have yet to encounter such problems. 2k is cleaner, better, and more realistics, IMO than Live.

What kind of key features does 2k11 have? I haven't heard anything as of yet....

My problem with the 2K franchise right now is that they haven't had much of an update since they pushed ahead of Live. I'd rather have played 2K7 than 2K10. Sure, they added a post animation and a few interesting little features, but the servers have been awful and the game play is a little sluggish (not that Live has been any better). I'm very interested in this years basketball game race, because one is completely changing their franchise, and the other is keeping details in the dark like every year. 2K definitely needs to step it up, even if they just try to meet the hype of EA.

One positive about 2K is that one of the developers finally admitted to the shitty servers, so we could have something to look forward to. What is definitely guaranteed is that I'm not making my final decision until IGN posts a review.

Notice the only big named free agent they put in the preview is Wade.

+1. 2K is the shit.

I know you don't want this becoming a Live vs. 2K thread, but how can you possibly say Live is anywhere near 2K.. The graphics are horrible (I'd rather play Live 05 than 09), horrible gameplay.. The list goes on.

NBA '00 was probably the best of the LIVE titles..

Anyways back on topic, I can't wait to play with Jordan, I finally don't have to create him from scratch again..

I can't wait to play as the Cavs and become Eastern Conference Champs:D

I love having a team with cap flexibility in the Association but never had one because I was always the Cavs. If our cap room holds, trading and signing free agents should be fun. The computer teams always love dumping good players with big contracts and for once, I will be able to take one on without tons of work. I realize we would only have 12 milllion in cap space, but that is so much more flexibility on that game then we have had in past years.

This game is going to be cheese central with everyone playing as the Heat.
