NBA 2K15

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Sooooo the default roster on the 360 version still has Bennett and Wiggins on the Cavs, Love on the Wolves. I was able to download the updated roster yet still had to use the Cavs with Wiggins when i played online.

The trade was made a month and a half ago... I don't get why it wasn't updated before the game was released.

Even with the updated roster, the Cavs are rated 12th overall. It's pretty fucking stupid.

Iv'e always been a "Live" guy but kept it to myself around the boards because I know everyone here is 2K. When Live got pushed, I decided fuck it and scooped up 2K on Tuesday for 360. I'm no hardcore gamer by any stretch of the imagination but goddamn...I can't seem to get anything to work the way it's suppose to.

Where do you go to update the rosters? Why should i even have to? Why are the rosters so outdated? Don't they automatically update?

After going through the tutorials, I started one of those "Mycareer" things. I spent a lot of time creating my dude and saving him but when i went to start the mode with him, I get a message saying some shit like "Cannot connect to 2K servers. You WILL NOT be able to play online mode with this career once you start" or something like that. I'm just lost.

Then I went to just start a season and the rosters are all a mess so I'm having to make trades all over the place to make them look somewhat correct.

To the experienced 2K players or people here who have 15 on 360 here, What mode do you recommend I play that actually works? Is there a way to get my rosters updated? Any tips you can give me on how to get more from the game? Any help at all would be appreciated.

I can't really help you, but I just totally agree with the bolded. That's how i felt with 14 on PS4, like the main menu is so lack luster, its just like a grey box with a couple options in it..and the rosters were always outdated unless I stumbled upon the way to force an update

If anyone gets MyTeam to work on PS4, let me know because I wanna play it lol

2 installs/uninstalls later and the game still keeps crashing at the start. Shot a message over at 2K not expecting to hear jack from them any time soon though what a fucking bummer.

As much as I criticized the last few installments (forgot who I argued with), this game is spectacular. I plan on posting a pretty in depth review in a bit.

I also plan on putting in major work tonight in 2k. I'm gonna ask my wife to go see a movie, then immediately get shot down for Greys Anatomy and Biggest Loser. I look like a great husband, and still get to play my game. Take notes gentlemen.

I'm going to laugh when the wife takes you up on the movie offer and you then have to sit through "If I stay"

I see what you guys mean about the servers, they're shit today.

I'm 4-0 online. Won a game with Sixers, barely. They were missing tons of layups, wide open on the break even. Really frustrating, probably won't use them again. I won a game with the T'Wolves, Lavine and Wiggins was dunk city. I just won a game with Cavs vs Thunder. Down 2, Dion pulls from deep at the buzzer, nailed it. But it was only a 2 (and I thought it was a three), so we went to OT where I won.

All of what has been recommended should have been in the game years ago. It's s step forward but I refuse to pat them on the back.

What's missing:
Pick protections and how it affects value. Added all pending trades (ie we have the Grizzlies pick. Im not sure about protections, but half of the battle has been won for all GM wannabes.)
Rising salary cap. Not only is it high in year 1, but in MyGM the cap actually has ramifications (lux tax, added exceptions, hopefully they can make it rise for the tv deal in an update)
Owner mode that includes: rebranding, stadium renovation or rebuild (I'm talking total design), cba discussions,at game experience, revenue analysis. All of which is included. Trade & contraction negotiations are more difficult, there is more back & forth. It made negotiations more than a click of a button. The only thing not included is total rebuild. But I will not lose sleep over that.
Eliminate dunk and alley oop animations. Or at least make oops difficult to do. Any guy with a 70 or high rating can posterior half a team on any oop.
Improve AI. Why is my guy running at me or knee the ball out? Why does my guy let a rebound drop next to him? The rebounding is slightly better, but the dunk animations are gone. I have only played about 10 games, but its not as easy to posterize someone. Same for crossovers.
Stealing is way too easy. Defense seems slightly more difficult and you can get penalized by being overly aggressive.
Add tv deal negotiations. Not hard to have 3 fake networks bid for your tv rights. Not included, but not a back breaker.
Bring crew back without the Mohawked giants that hut fade away 3s. Adding my players make it a joke. I have spent 10 total minutes on crew, but it seems more logical and having less forced animations makes it more enjoyable. It also seems a little more difficult to build a guy up.
Add depth to my crew, such as leagues. Much improved. It seems like there is a lot more to being a MyPlayer.

Haven't bought it since 2k12. I only have last yrs bc it was free last month on psn

So I bitched about old 2k games, and it looks like this current year did add a few things that made them differentiate themselves from older games. See bolded above for notes on my old gripes. All in all its the best 2k ive played in a long time. The serves still suck, but I wouldnt dare get online until I can master the Cavs. Presentation is great (pre-game, TNT, and half time interview). Smooth gameplay and less forced animations. I cant find a whole lot wrong with this years version.

Sitting here playing this, buddy of mine yells "fuck you!"

Game calls a technic foul for unsportsmanlike conduct being foul language... Kinect mic was on lmao

Anyone else have that happen yet?

I heard that happened on 2k14 too, but I have ps4 and never had a mic in. I will say, beware of calling a timeout when you have none. You will get a tech for that, and that has never happened before. It costs me the game, lucky it was against the cpu.

Preordered the disc ps4.. Updates installed.. Still can't get past the Spurs heat game.. It's been a couple hours now.. Any help would be much appreciated!

You just have to wait it out bro. It will eventually work.

I feel like the game is awesome, but the offensive sets are so slow moving and awkward. Fast breaks are often pretty brutal as well, off-ball defense for non-selected players is awful.

Plenty to work on in the patches ahead.

Nothing more frustrating than playing perfect defense on your man for 20 seconds or so, only to have him dish it to someone cutting under the basket for an easy layup while the AI-controlled defender just stands there and watches.

I haven't had too many problems in regards to fast break offense and set offenses, though. Ball movement has generally been pretty smooth. Transition defense is another story, however... defenders will catch up to the guy with the ball right as he gets to the three point line, and then will slow up and allow him an easy transition layup or dunk. It happened with LeBron just the other day. I think adjusting the sliders for defensive awareness and whatnot will help, but it's still pretty stupid when you consider that LeBron in particular is known for chase down blocks.
