I think the officiating is going to be a big element in this series. Will they let us rough up Steph a bit, or will they protect their golden child? GSW is not used to the type of physical play we are capable of, but will the league let us play that way?

Or will they let GS get away with moving screens left and right and let bogut go over the back on everyone? That's gonna be the key. We really need to be able to flop(embarassing but true) because the refs won't be on our side....

The one thing I think about in this is who does the league(refs) want to win more? The current MVP? Or the Current best in the world who just came home? That will be the teller of the series.

Also, prayers up that one of the Houston players is pissed they get swept and "oylnyk" Steph or klays shoulder....[emoji120][emoji48]

Tony Allen was getting benched before he got "hurt". The Warriors just did what Spurs and teams in past playoffs have done and force Tony Allen to shoot. When that happens, he becomes unplayable

True: but doesn't change the essence of the point. Allen is their best defender and if you can't play him whether due to offense or injury it's going to hurt you. (Plus there is still the matter of Conley's broken face)

Can't do that with Shumpert, Smith, or Delly. Cavs will kill you from the perimeter if you sag off any of their strong perimeter defenders.

You were talking about Tony Allen that if he didn't get "hurt" the Grizzlies would win. No he was benched before that. Warriors also whooped on Grizzlies in regular season. I believe Grizzlies won Game 2 because Kerr didn't gameplan for Conley to play.

I don't remember where I saw it but somebody said GS is one of the best teams of all time. Not sure I agree. Haven't won anything yet. That's what great teams are remembered for.

Am I crazy, or should we put either LeBron or Shump on Curry?

I'm going with LeBron. Didn't we do that earlier in the season at The Q where they blowed them out?

Huh you realize the Grizz won Game 3 with Allen playing 33 minutes. That's an interesting definition of benching

FYI: that was the game Allen got hurt

They didn't force him to shoot until game 4 and then he got benched. Totally changed up their defense from Games 1-3 and 4-6

You have to double-team and trap Steph Curry, you can't play him 1-on-1, it doesn't work.

That's so risky, because you stand the chance of leaving their other shooters open.

But it's something the Cavs might have to consider though. I don't know. Curry is going to be a big problem for us.

Not against it. GS causes a lot of teams problems.

I am still laughing at the people that thought Houston could beat us if our team is healthy. The thought of Jason Terry guarding a healthy Kyrie would be comical, much like it has been against GS.

Why couldn't they, yeah right, they had no chance against GS. :(

Cavs would have beaten the remaining teams in the West, I have no doubt about that.

To quote yourself get out of here with that junk.

Allen makes up for his lack of shooting by being able to cut to basket and being a great cleanup guy playing off the ball which is obviously much harder to when your hamstring is broke. Really no coincidence that the Grizz are 2-1 and their best defender gets hurt and suddenly GS coasts?

Allen is probably one the worst players at making layups in the playoffs outside of Noah. His hamstring was just fine when he was launching three after three in game 4. Once again, Warriors changed their defense in game 4 to what every single other team has done the past few years in the playoffs which made Allen unplayable. Also, nobody actually believed his hamstring was bad enough that it forced him to sit out games anyways.

Bro, you don't have a choice. You play him man-to-man, and you're giving up 30+ points every game.

They need Steph. Without him, they really don't have a well-tuned offense. I like the idea of constantly doubling and trapping Curry. Force Klay and Green into playing isolation. Keep Mozgov on Bogut to prevent them from funneling the offense through him.

Yeah, I have no idea why anyone thought Houston was a threat. They just got exposed, as did James Harden.

Why couldn't they, yeah right, they had no chance against GS. :(

Looks like we found our token Warriors fan/poster.

Allen initially aggravated the left hamstring midway through the Grizzlies' win Saturday in Game 3 but played two days later in a loss that tied the series at 2-2.

"He wants to be out there and will do everything he can," Joerger said after Wednesday afternoon's shootaround. "He's been more hurt than I think people realize. He's given us everything he's got and is the reason we're tied in this series."
