During the game, Doris Burke reported Thompson was treated for a lacerated ear and because of that, he didn't need to go through the concussion protocol.

It sounded incredibly weird when being reported, like "Oh hey, his ear is hurt so he is fine. Nothing to see here" but that is exactly what she said.

Why would she report that if they actually went through the protocol? Sounds like the Warriors medical staff is trying to cover their ass.
No doubt in my mind he was concussed when I saw the replay. Dude took a serious shot.

I hope GSW gives out yellow shirts on game 1...only so we can wear our Alt Yellow on their court.

Cavs in 5. This Golden State team is overrated. A joke I have seen some people try to say they are on the same level as the 14 Spurs or some of the other elite title teams the last decade. Their offense is going to come to a grinding halt in Cleveland. They don't matchup well at all with us.

Western Conference D is a joke. We'll see how well the soft respond to the hard and the strong.

Smash-Mouth vs. Limp Wrist. We'll see, Kerr. Come the dawn, we shall see.

Those aren't just empty words, either. You don't have to be Hubie Brown to see that the defense in the Cavs' series was much more physical than what was being played in the West.

Even though we don't have Wade & Bosh, I think the overall defense being played by the Cavs in the playoffs is as good as what the Heat were doing in their prime. If Mozgov is in, we've got a better rim protector than they did, and if TT is playing the 5, that TT/LBJ/Shump/JR/Delly lineup is at least as strong overall as what the Heat fielded. And GSW isn't prime-era Spurs.

Anyone know when Flashseats goes active for the Finals? Was hoping to plan a trip to Cleveland for a game.

Probably $75 at facevalue for what was once a $10 seat. Odds of getting that are slim. On the market, probably atleast $150.

On fantasy island maybe? Back in 2007 I sold my game 3 finals tickets for $700 over face value. I had cheap $50 dollar seats and someone bought both for $1500

Cavs in 1.

After the first game that we'll beat them hard in their home court, Curry and Kerr will decide to quit from their jobs, and the others just follow suit and won't show up anymore, a victory after only 1 game!

You mean after Delly rolls on the floor for a loose ball and crumples Thompson's leg...:chuckle:

I've seen similar tickets already going for $1k+ on StubHub. Wait until we get closer to game day. The hype will be through the roof.

Gotta remember too that game was nearly 10 years ago. Costs will be much higher, and I think expectations are higher too.
