NBA Finals Game 3 -|- Cavaliers vs. Warriors -|- June 8th, 2016 @ 9:00 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
all i'll say is this: if the cavs win 3 straight, THERE IS NO FUCKING WAY THEY LOSE IN THE Q GM 6
Big IF, tho..
Still have confidence no matter what. We all know what this team can do and how they can play. Tie it up Friday and it's a completely new series.

Weird how quiet the internet is when the Cavs win. I'm not seeing a lot of memes. U can tell Steph isnt the real MVP because nobody is calling him a choker.

Apparently if you run into a stationary player because you're not looking, it's their fault you got injured. It's like driving into a lake and blaming the lake if you drown...

Funniest thing is that play was called a moving screen when Mozgov was clearly set and not even really sticking his knee out. Losing last season, none of our players said shit about Kyrie being injured outside of the fact that it was unfortunate. They didn't make excuses. Draymond plays like a fucking dipshit, Cavs don't call anything. The minute the Warriors feel like their backs are up against the wall, the excuses and dirty play calls come out. Calling Delly and Mozgov out. Classless.

I won't be able to watch. So that probably means Cavs will play their best game ever.

You're welcome.
You're welcome. The one game I can't watch all year....

But for real, what did I miss? Just saw the score. I'll go through and try to read all the comments and get a gist of what was going on, but after a score like that, I'm assuming there will be a lot of positivity on the board so that will be good.

Can we turn this series around? How much better do we look? Anything else notable? Mozgov didn't play much still with Kev out?

Lets put it this way we played three quarters of winning ball but mostly we stuffed the three point line and forced them to drive and tried to leave the worst shooter open who was Barnes who played great but he can't beat us. We picked out poison and treated every play serious. Shumpert went full retard and got them kind back in it and the second half LeBron became Superman. Our defense was not great but we forced them just to make it work and then it got our offense going then the defense really picked up second half.

Delly and Moz were physical and every minute Moz was on the floor he was helpful. Jefferson was the star of the game just doing those little things you need to win. Kyrie was mr. first half then James took the second. We played in their face made Klay drive and take bad shots, stuffed Curry till the refs started bailing him out and he hit a few of his chuck shots. FINALLY we tool A.I of the game and LeBron was scoring on him forcing him be less effective on offense. The refs were bad both ways but did try to let GS back in it "shocker" We play knife to the neck ball, Oh and J.R was finally hitting shots and it started because his defense started to really be good.

Overall it was what it looked like when we steam rolled other teams this play off. Finally we had ball movement for 75% of the game and Shump needs to focus more on defense and not dribble the ball. Please do not watch anymore games if this is the result of it. :chuckle:

Obviously I am not delusional as this is just one game, one outcome, but I am intrigued by the effort tonight.

Most people are going to look at just the offensive numbers, but I like to look at pace of game like stats to really show just how hard the Cavaliers hustled tonight.

+20 on the boards, 17 offensive-2nd chance points are huge.

15 fastbreak points-out on the run, not many teams can compete.

They didn't even do it from the 3 point line necessarily, 54 points in the paint and held the Warriors to 27% from 3.

I am intrigued that the offensive #s came from the big guys and this could be the start of a pattern and I am going to watch out for the hustle stats moving forward.

Maybe we did get to them tonight... I didn't see a Mo Spieghts over confident or hopeful tweet tonight unless I missed it.

I just got home from the game a few minutes ago. My seats were nosebleed seats so I can't give you opinions on specific plays. Thank God for the jumbotron.

But I do want to talk about the atmosphere at the Q. To say it was electric would be an understatement. It was off the chain. My section, 202, stood for the ENTIRE game. Nobody prompted us to, we just did. There were no commercials on the jumbotron. Just more crowd hype. I have never before seen a crowd at the Q on fire like that.

A friend of mine just asked me if that was how it was during the Miracle of Richfield era. The greatest compliment I can say is that it was similar. The acoustics of the buildings are different. But the crowd energy was close.

It's cause they're winning the series man. It's hard to choke when winning. The term implies that you are choking away the game/the series. It requires you to be losing.

If they were down in this series with him playing the way he has, or if they go down in this series with him playing the way he has, he'll start getting hit over the head with it.

Tristan earned his money tonight... he and Jefferson were the stars tonight. Tristan you can tell is confident at this stage. Kyrie played his first Finals home game he felt it. I feel being at home for this team helped and it will do the same I hope for Kevin if he comes back. I feel once Kyrie and Kevin get the first finals win at home or at Finals at all (K.I) got his tonight. We will see a different team on the road if we can take Fridays game I like our chances to win this series.

I understand that but the narrative was "he didn't have to do that much because they're winning by so much" but today was a game where they really needed him to score and be aggressive and he was a no-show. He was actually way worse than his stats show. Playing bad is fine but being disengaged and barely trying to do anything when you're the MVP is not a good look.

LeBron has gotten a ton of flack for that and even if the Cavs were winning the series with LeBron playing like Curry all you would hear is how LeBron is being carried and had to go to Cleveland to be with young stars that can carry him to a championship. Cavs are a game away from tying this thing up its not like the Warriors were up 3-0 and lost.
