I am looking to start an NBA2k7 league soon on the 360.

I have a few friends that are joining and still have 3 to 4 spots open to do an eight team league. The league is only eight games long (play each team once, and one team twice) and four teams make the playoffs.

League Name is: Kings of Pain
League Password is: lebron

You can be any team available except the Suns and the Heat which I have reserved for my two friends who are out of town this week and can't join yet.

But there are a ton of good teams left - Only the Cavaliers (me) and the Nets have been taken so far. And don't worry about skill, I am probably the best of my friends and I would say I am average at the game.

And for those who care about stats and standings, here is the league website which 2k sports runs (which is pretty awesome I have to say).

I'll join tonight when I get off work....try and send me an invite to "JuiceBoxx Hero"

Because I have never joined a league I don't know where to go from the Live menu and if you could send me an invite that would make everything so much easier.
Thanks

I sent one but Im not sure where to check it out...If you don't see it, try this.

After pressing start --- do this
1. Xbox Live
2. Leagues
3. Join League - and a list should come up. Hit the RB button(right in front of the right trigger) and type in 'kings' and hit start.
4. You will see Kings of Pain about five or so down.
5. Enter lebron as the password which should let you in and you can select a team.

How do you get on XBox live, I dont understand that whole process. I have to pay to play online?

and here comes Truth to ruin the thread.

Yeah and it cost a whopping $50 a year. I can barely afford it....I don't eat that month and car pool to save on gas...

lol...I ruin the thread by asking a question about the topic? I never had an xbox before til I got the 360 and I guess you get a free month cause I played a couple times online, havent played since.

50 bucks for a year mac.Just go to EB Games and ask for a 1 year subscription,or you can get 3 months for like 20 bucks.I'll join the league later on when i get home.I also have a friend who would join most likely too.

SO those little cards is the access to the internet? What are the benefits of online play beside just playing online?

Well you can also buy old arcade games if you like those.Ninja turtles, mortal kombat etc. They look just like the super nintendo version.

Do you have internet access at home?If not a router is what you need to play online.Nothing really more than multiplayer online and you have access to hundreds of arcade games(which you still have to buy with microsoft points).

Truthfully I think its well worth it,i like to just jump on when im bored you know and play for a little. There are only so many people that are online,so if you pick up rainbow six or gears of war then you can always find matches.NBA 2k7 also has the fantasy draft feature online for leagues which is fun also.

I got the invite and I'm rollin with organized chaos..GS!
