NCAA FB 11 Online Dynasty Thread (360)

Hey, I just decided to start this new thread for organization of our RCF Online Dynasty. I'll be posting rules and other regulations for the online dynasty in the next day or so. With the game dropping tomorrow I figured we should start getting some of this stuff set up and squared away, including team selection. So first come, first serve for team selection. We are doing MAC teams like last year. I'll also think about making a facebook group for the Online Dynasty, but most likely we can just use RCF for setting up our user vs user games. As a recent BG grad (graduated in May), I'd like the opp. to take BGSU to the promise land and turn around the last 4 years of watching them lose. If you friend goes/went there, or has a strong objection or strong ties to the school then no problem I'll take someone else. I would like to use them though...

Ill be going on vacation the 23-31st I dunno how bad it will affect the dynasty hopefully not that much but Im getting it tonight at midnight and will be on til the 23rd and everyday after I get back

Also guys, I want to hear your suggestions for gameplay settings.. last year we did All-american, and I like Heisman a little more, but since we are all MAC schools, AA might be the way to go?

I guess I would suggest AA.. We also need to look at the recruiting difficulty, bc that is new in this years game.

We will start the league probably a week or so after the game drops.. we will be able to experiment with the settings and everything, but we are mostly awaiting named rosters...... and for Mac to get his copy of the game .

EDIT: Scratch that, Mac is a loser face who already has his game lol

Here is what I have for rules so far:
-If you are playing a computer team you have 24 hours to complete your game and recruiting from when the new week has started. At 24 hours I'm going to get a hold of you and start getting on you to finish up your game and recruiting. I understand that we all have lives here, so if you can just kindly drop me a pm or leave something in this thread that you won't be able to get your game/recruiting in during the allotted time period, we can let it slide and be lenient with you. Please do communicate with us though, because people are going to be eager to move on, I want this to be a quick dynasty . The first week we will obviously have a lot of leniency because people will be accepting invites at different times.

-For user vs user games, we will give you guys 48-72 hours until I'm going to really get on your cases haha. It's not a big deal, once again I understand that people are going to have conflicting schedules. As long as I see effort from both sides we'll delay it as long as we can, but I want to see you guys making an effort to contact each other, whether it be here on RCF, or other ways. That is on you guys though, it's your decision how you will get a hold of the other players to set up a game time. After 2-3 days, if one person has showed me that they tried to contact the other person, and that other person showed no effort to get there, i'll simulate the game and the person who showed no effort and offered up no excuse will get a strike against their record. (Three strikes you are out of the OD... and I don't mean to be a jerk, but we want to keep things rolling along.)

-Realistic gameplay guys. I don't want to see cheesing... this is a loose rule, but if people are complaining because you are dropping back 25 yards and then running or something, we're going to have to do something about it. Just make sure you're doing stuff in the game, that you would see on TV on Saturdays in the fall.

hmm that will make things really tough man.. I don't want to hold up the rest of the guys for you.. could you forfeit your spot and we'll throw you at first on the wait list? You might be able to get right back in when you get back.

Another option, you could do your recruiting on the internet while your on vacation, but we simulate your games?

Let me know how you want to go about doing things, but if you're gone during that time, it's going to be very difficult for the rest of the members, ya know? We are going to want to start rolling around 7/20, and hopefully by the 31st we have like 4-5 weeks in.

ALSO, If you signed up in the other thread or something and I missed it, PLEASE tell me, I think I reviewed everything okay, but I could have made a mistake. Just let me know if I messed up.
