How's Heyward going to work out in the NBA? Ask me now and I'd say not too well. Really don't know yet though.

I simply don't like the VCU's and the Butler didit's in the final four. Just don't. I may be the only person in the country who feels this way, but I feel this way. You wouldn't have to cut many regular season games either if you started the best out of three series at the Elte 8 point of the tourney. I want the best teams in the title game. We won't get that now. Doing the best of three games and you get a better judge of the best. If VCU is the better team, they beat Kansas two out of three, right?

Let me guess you think Ohio State was one of the best teams in the country???

How were they not? They lost 2 games in the regular season and were incredibly impressive all season. It's not their fault they were dealt a match-up with a grossly underseeded Kentucky team that won the SEC tourney and has seemingly found its stride in this tournament. Just because a team loses in the Sweet 16, it doesn't mean that team isn't one of the best in the country.

Maybe read the entire thread... I went to Ohio State but I am not going to sit here and bitch about this final four because OSU got a tough draw... This has been a great tournament and he is out of his mind to even hint at wanting to change the format of this tournament because in his opinion the best teams are not in the finals...

ah hell, lets just have a tournament with the four #1 seeds and have them play a best of 7. then when they lose, their fans won't be able to complain. all the other teams get to play in the NIT. it will be boring as hell but hey lets do it because high seeds don't belong in the real final four.

anyway, butler vs uconn for the championship plz. vcu vs uconn works too. just let the winner be anyone but kentucky, really.

Seriously....people are at of their mind to try and say that Butler doesn't deserve to be where they are. Look at what they had to go through to get there: #9 ODU, #1 Pitt, #4 Wisconsin, and #2 Florida. There are very few teams in the country that could survive that type of run. They definitely earned their trip to the Final 4. Same for VCU.

He's right. The best teams AREN'T in the Final Four. But that is how the tournament works, lol. It's why we watch it. Scrappy teams make runs...I don't want to see it changed just cuz Ohio State lost out on a tough draw. However, I will disagree with anyone who thinks the tournament is accurate in getting the best quality teams to the Final Four/title game

Come on now. Lets not act like Calhoun is some sort of saint here. Anyone remember Nate Miles? It only happened two years ago. Fact of the matter is both of these guys have skeletons in their closet.

I like Cal. Sure he recruits mercenaries (like every other major program), but at least he's honest about it. Plus I've heard he's a nice guy (Calhoun on the other hand...).
