Despite all the Duke hate, that was an amazing game. Butler would have won had they not gone completely cold.
 
If that shot goes down for Hayword, it becomes the most played highlight for next 50 years.

It was amazing... snagged rebound, unbelievable blind screen at halfcourt that sends Singler flying like the little bitch he is, and a great halfcourt attempt. The only thing that didn't happen was the ball going in. If it goes in, the play's fate is exactly what you said.
 
somebody please rip out Dick Vitale's vocal chords so I don't have to see his biased stupidity plastered all over my TV for the next week. thx.
 
I don't even like college hoops and this made me sick. :mad:
 
Really enjoyed this game. It was like was a JV high school game, but at least it was dramatic. Great story line, close throughout, and a nailbiting finish. The only thing that was missing was elite basketball players (though I do like Hayward)
 
Meh, I thought the reffing was fine. The closest thing to a screw job against Butler was the charge they put on Hayward as Scheyer was moving. They called Singler for a travel when it could've been a block for Howard's 5th.

Duke just had too much length....
 
I did not like the fadeaway Hayward settled for on his 2nd-to-last-shot. That whole thing was a bit too LeHayward for me. I thought he could have gotten a better opportunity there, or they could have set a pick to free him up.

Evenso, that Butler coach has got a ridiculously good future ahead of him.

I hope Duke lives in history as "the other team" when people remember tonight's game.

Was a great game but what really ticked me off was when they play the One Shining Moment. I did not see a single buckeye through the whole thing. Maybe I missed it but we got Evan Turner PoTY. Wtf up with that.

The "charge" was a much more significant call, though. And what about Zoubek moving on EVERY screen he sets yet never getting called? Or that elbow/shove he threw in the final minute (luckily it went off his foot, ball don't lie, etc but still)? Plus numerous others...

Duke is going to be pre-season #1 now which is lame. Please come back Turner, I'd love to spank those dickheads in the title game next year. Too bad the two biggest clowns on Duke are seniors.

That happens EVERY SINGLE PLAY IN EVERY SINGLE GAME. Zoubek is the only player I watch continuously on Duke, just to see what he'll get away with next. I swear the dude thinks its a rugby field and not a basketball court. Sure, there physical contact but not to the extent he dishes out.


Please come back Ed Davis, John Henson (because they WILL) so we can spank those dickheads twice next year and then maybe another time in the ACC Tournament.

I see Duke being next years Carolina of this year.

Don't worry, Duke doesn't lose clowns...they just get more the next year...look for Irving to be the next big one...
