We are 5 games into the season, and I'm comfortable saying these guys have already lost all credibility. Their reports on Kyrie and Lebron "exchanging words" and Dion not coming out for the national anthem because he is a Muslim have both been directly refuted from the players themselves. What's even worse is that the report on Dion came out right before the Nuggets tip-off...a game in which he was on the floor for the national anthem. It's already apparent these guys will say anything for clicks. I cant stand piss-poor journalism, and unfortunately the majority of it covering Northeast Ohio sports is just that, piss-poor.

Lloyd's still pretty good. I appreciate that he always takes time to verify all information he hears before he reports it. While it's been frustrating to some people in the past (he's rarely ever the first to break news), he's been consistent on that front his entire career.

Definitely. I am a huge Lloyd fan, but that's where it about ends for me.

Um, Windhorst reported the exchange. He is with ESPN. Not NEOMG.

Haynes is one of the most well respected writers in the league. I believe him. He wouldn't fabricate a story just to gain attention. I bet Dion was in the locker room but someone may have told him to be with the team. I don't know for sure.

Before you start ripping people, check the facts. Waiters specifically told Haynes. Waiters wasn't on the floor during the National Anthem before the Utah game.

This was about what happened during the Utah game, not last night. Haynes should've maybe published it after or before the Jazz game and not last night, but hey, he is doing his job.

Dion was on the floor for the national anthem at the same time the report with "direct quotes" was released saying that he will no longer be on the floor for the national anthem. That, I think, settles it.

The article did not say that Dion would not be on the floor for the anthem any more. The article quoted Dion as saying he would not be on the floor anymore. The fact that Dion did not follow through on his statement does not mean he never made the statement in the first place.

You mean you can't think of a reason of how that might have happened other than Chris Haynes just making up a quote?

Haynes is one of the most respected writers in the league? If I may ask...what are you basing this off of?

IMO, he's average.

I mean, a lot of people in the league like him. I know all the players in Portland liked him a lot.

My beef is solely with their stupid ass new name/front name/rebrand, or whatever it is.
