New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think it really built as it went along and nailed the final episode which makes me excited for next season. Good cast well written and can only get better

Agreed on the final episode. Looks like they're building to perhaps a season 3 where Pied Piper becomes a global, large-scale organization which'll be cool to see. As a marketer, I also enjoyed the focus on "flat design" and the importance of a logo. Got a kick out of the whole 'lower case letters' thing. And that final scene where they're working out the formula for efficient ejaculation techniques which leads Richard to an epiphany that eventuates into the final algorithm of the platform had me rolling on the floor laughing!

CavsSimmy, please tell me that is a picture of you in your avatar.

LOL... That's Krayzie Bone of Cleveland's very own Bone Thugs-N-Harmony... Sorry to disappoint!

I wish you hadn't revealed this.

I was picturing a black guy with an Australian accent for the last week.

Thanks for nothing!

Peter Gregory will be sorely missed. That actor was awesome, too bad he died. I feel like it at least contributed to the meandering it sort of did mid season. That whole cicadas/burger king bit was awesome

Ha! Sorry to disappoint. Although if you're looking for a black guy with an Australian accent, perhaps this will suffice:

(P.S seems I should change my profile picture, I'm throwing everyone if with perception apparently!)

It seems identical to the book so far but the problem for me is the books really aren't that good.

It seemed like he had enough story for one book but stretched it into three. The plot/concept was pretty good, but I thought he was pretty terrible at fleshing that out. Dialogue was clunky, etc..

I agree that the show was decent, and that might be because unlike something like GOT where the books are much more dense, you could do a pretty good adaptation of the Strain without leaving much out. Probably tightening it up a lot along the way. I'll keep watching as well. Acting (except for Sam Gamgee and the female doctor) seemed decent.

Aborigines aren't really black. I've seen Crocodile Dundee 1 & 2, I know the deal!

Totes thought that was him too

I am disapoint.

Started watching the anime Fairy Tail on Netflix, its surprisingly funny, decent action but its annoying because every single female is over sexualized. Its mostly annoying cuz it seems like a family friendly show with the lack of profanity and blood, but every female has a huge rack and their "armor" is just a bra and panties..sometimes thats cool but it makes the whole show seem shallow

Have updated the image to avoid any further confusion (and perceptual mocking).

Again, sorry to disappoint, I'm just a standard ass white boy with an Australian accent :)

Simmy, you ruined things for all of us. You should have just went with it and said that was you.

At least you have an accent.. And I can imagine you say "crickey", all of the time.

It probably would have been more fun. And what's even more ironic is that I was originally going to use a photo of Dani Alves (FC Barcelona player) dressed up as Anderson Varejao but decided against it, fearing that most would assume that it was a photo of me and my buddies messing around...

To be perfectly honest, I don't think I've ever said "crickey" once - of course, unless I was doing a Steve Irwin impersonation, that is. Most people's perception of Australians is rather skewed - I think if you ever visited, you'd be pleasantly surprised by the differences ;)

I know more about NZ - my sister lived there for 7 years. She's visited Australia as well. I do know a thing or two about a thing or two. Just messin with the new kids on the board.
