New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
And that nostalgia died rather quickly. I just started "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" -- I have no idea what to expect, but I'm going for it.

Love that show. They just put on a new season on Netflix which I'm in the process of finishing right now.

anybody everwatch the show arrow? I'm not even sure what network it's on. I watched the first couple episodes last night. it's about some billionare dude who gets shipwrecked on an island for 5 years then comes back and somehow is turned into a superhero tpe figure.

Yea I think I mentioned it awhile back. And he turn into a superhero type figure because it is based off the super hero comic book "Green Arrow". He is like Batman except he uses arrows and actually kills people. It was a pretty good show, I was a few episodes in and never followed through with watching it. I might have to pick it up again if I have nothing else to watch.

It's on the CW. If you can tolerate the standard CW tropes of stupid relationship melodrama then you should be ok. The fight scenes are very well done, some of the best on TV right now. The actual super hero plot is pretty good too. The CW crap gets old fast.

The only time guys watch the CW are when they're with a girl and trying to get laid. It's all about casting super attractive people and then having them go through stupid relationship drama.

In short, no there isn't. To illustrate this, Arrow is like their only show that has done well in the male demographic in about a decade. The CW targets teenage and young adult women.

I find this show painfully underwhelming and overrated. Can't really figure out why because all my friends love it and the style of humor should be right in my wheelhouse. Can't get into it at all.

What other TV shows do you enjoy?

My favorite TV comedy in the last few years has been Delocated. I enjoy Office/ Parks & Rec humor, but honestly don't watch much comedy on TV unless it's stand-up. Movies-wise, my favorite is Big Lebowski. I like Clerks and Swingers. Like every other Will Ferrell movie. That kind of stuff.

Again, all my friends share my tastes and love this show. I really wanted to like it.

I thought the first two seasons of Sunny were brilliant. The third season is pretty great too. After that, it tapers off and becomes hit or miss. Some episodes are amazing (The Gang Dances Their Asses Off, for example). Others aren't all that funny.

The Office and Clerks are the only ones you mentioned there that I really enjoy.

Always Sunny is just a ridiculous kind of funny....I can understand where you are at based on those other shows/movies you mentioned.
