Colts and Lions nabbing Nick Cross and Kerby Joseph likely impacted the Browns draft plans at 99..
I know Bell didn't test well but a lot of us, including the draft community, had him firmly in the 2nd round based on talent and production alone.. At this point, I think he's a guy you take a chance on with his pedigree despite the lackluster athletic testing..
Seems like the Browns have their slot guys (Felton, Grant) and wanted more of an 'X' receiver, which is exactly what Bell will be..
Emerson pick was a bit questionable but do like the Wright and Bell picks a lot.. Good value, good production and good character at positions of need.

Bell was AWFUL in in the athletic testing, but at the same time he's only 21 and was wildly productive in the 2nd best conference in the country.
I would imagine the odds of Landry returning are much lower now than they were 20 minutes ago.

Will be interesting to see how many skill players the Browns end up carrying..
Right now you have Chubb, Hunt and DEJ at RB, then Cooper, DPJ, Schwartz, Grant, and now Bell, with Felton being a wild card and Stanton being your FB/H-Back...
Can they carry 11 skill guys (RB/WR)?

Not sure Stanton makes it. Not sure Felton makes it either. They could go with 3 TEs too.
