The Penix pick has to be one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen in the history of the draft. How do you pay a QB that kind of money and then use a top 10 pick on a QB? Why even sign Cousins? You knew Penix would be there.

I’d be so salty as a Falcons fans. Just no reason to do that unless Cousins isn’t able to play this year.

It's just odd that this many QBs would be taken so high. I didn't think this QB class was really that good to warrant that.

They all got drafted so high because history shows that the failure rate of late first round QBs and after is higher then QBs picked near the top of the draft. Teams picked them earlier to give them a better chance to succeed.
