*Offical Cleveland Indians Game Discussion*

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Victor made the jump from AA to MLB. If Santana looks good in spring training, I see no reason why he can't make the 25 man roster. Let's hope a new manager is open minded about young kids like this. We know the Marsons and the Toregas and the Gimenez's are NOT the future.

Victor played more than half a season in Buffalo, though, he didn't make the jump straight from AA. If he wasn't a C, I think he would have been promoted from Akron during the year and finished in AAA this past year anyway. No need to rush him, a half season at Columbus to adjust to better pitching can't hurt.

Well, I don't know about you guys, but it's just nice to see the Tribe competing in October baseball once again...

...can you really call the last two games 'competing'?

Talking about competing. Boy; those Twins just might pull this off! It would truly funny stuff for Detroit to lead the division the entire damn year until the very last game. :chuckles:

well.. not really the "entire" year as the Royals started out in first. :D

Screw MN and Detroit. This division is the "something's gotta give division". Someone has to win it. I think I would rather see MN fail than Detroit. I think MN fans would take it harder.

Minnesota has the Vikings at least, Detroit has well, the Lions and Pistons, I think Detroit would take it harder.

Maybe so. I only wish they could both lose. And yes, I am very bitter about this season.

I'm rooting for a National League team to win it this year. I haven't decided which one yet, but I'm leaning toward the Rockies. Frankly, whichever National League team makes the World Series is who I will end up rooting for, but I would like to see the Rockies make it.

Interesting story...

I went out to a bar in Pittsburgh with a few friends last night. As we walked through the front door, squeezing through the crowd, I noticed some tall ass dude staring me down while I was waiting for a drink. So I peek out of my peripherals to see this fucking giant, wearing a Steelers shirt and a Pirates hat staring relentlessly at my Indians hoody.

I'm not a big dude by any standards, so I'm just imagining the possible outcomes of this heavy duty mean mugging that's going on. All of a sudden he sees me looking at him, looks up, extends his hand and says "way to represent your team, man. You have my respect."

Pittsburghers are pitying my favorite team :(

Ouch.

Yeah, at first I thought the same thing and was a little weirded out by the exchange. But now that I reflect on it, it was a pretty classy move on his part. Especially considering I saw an 8 person fist fight later in the night that started over a Browns/Steelers argument :chuckles:

Windhorst commenting on the playoff situation ...

PDcavsinsider Sarcastic editorial comment alert. So...2 LA teams, Yanks, BoSox, and Phils in playoffs. Wow, another great "competitve" season of MLB.

Sad, but he's right. 100% right.

I like looking at the first few pages to see all our predictions :chuckles:

Did anyone see Wedge's final lineup today?

Holy Hell, that was the sole reason for him to be fired with his constant juggling of the lineup.

Thank god this season is over. I can't wait to say that for the football season too.

Just 2 years ago the Tribe were about to play the Yanks and the Browns were 2-2 and looking good. :(
