Official Brady Quinn Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I've yet to see Quinn sit back there with the same poise and deliver a really great pass...

Screen passes ? Sure, I think he can master those all day.. But, standing in the pocket, checking down, looking off a DB, and delivering a crisp, on target pass ?? I've yet to see that in any snap he has taken...

On the first play of the highlight Quinn freezes the linebackers and safeties in the middle of the field and hits Furrey coming out of his break down and away from the defender.

On the 2nd play Quinn reads the blitz, finds the hot read, delivers the ball to Cribbs in stride all the while following through on his delivery knowing he is going to take a shot.

On the 4th play, quick 3 step drop and as soon as the plant leg hits on the 3rd step the ball away quickly and on target into a small window to Royal.

On the TD pass to Edwards it is a 5 step drop off playaction and Quinn hits Edwards on the seam route again after planting on that 5th step hits Edwards between the numbers.

Really, Young ?

The only, and I mean only pass that could perhaps be in the same class is the read to Furrey.. The one thing I did notice however is the line not holding up as well for Brady... Perhaps with a more stable front, these things can get accomplished. But, two of these passes are to the damn runningback..

I have to give you some rep here because I have been looking for actual reasons why fans like who (mostly between the two QBs relevant to our season). It is ironic that this came on RCF before I've seen it anywhere else.

As a side note, I noticed through this sequence that perhaps the screens tossed by BQ (which were each effective) could have been his recognition of a vulnerable part of the Titans' D. Just sayin'.

You asked for this...

standing in the pocket, checking down, looking off a DB, and delivering a crisp, on target pass

I gave you 4 examples of these qualities on non-screen plays

I'd let Brady Quinn touch my penis while wearing a pink shirt at a golf course...

No, you technically did..This is true, I will admit.. But, they were weak examples...Examples nonetheless..

Hey, I have to work with what Im given. It's not like Im able to break down the coaches tape with Ron Jaworski.

Points come out of the passing game!

Ok this is where I have to go into break down analysis mode.

The Sanchez play at :44 in the video was a bad pump fake. Sure he faked with the shoulder but he didn't even look like he was going to attempt to throw it. There was no reason to buy that fake.

The Throw to Braylon for the TD was a crisp throw on target that went for a TD. It was a good throw. In the video for Sanchez the Eagles are playing a soft defense allowing the underneath stuff just nothing deep. Also talk to me when Sanchez does it in a game.

Also here you go PIP however it is a bad video.

Should have went for Cutler or Sanchez...It will bite us on the ass eventually..At which point I will link us back many times to when I said we should trade for Cutler or draft Sanchez, and then proceed to ridicule the idiots that disputed that notion during that time..

I saw Sanchez do a fake shoulder pump the other day, and I just started to cry...:bigcry: The poise, the accuracy, the leadership...

Yet, we're stuck with noodle cannon...

Yeah, that is every Browns fan's greatest fear that Sanchez will become a stud and Quinn/Anderson will go the way of Couch and Frye. I do like Quinn's footwork and huddle presence. We'll see about the arm.

Every QB has his moments, but it's quite obvious Quinn can't throw down field often if at all, and he's limited to screens and short passes, there is nothing wrong with it but there is no reason to try and make him out to be something he is.

Is that supposed to be isnt?

Anyway stop running him down like he sucks more than Anderson. I dont think its even possible to suck more than DA. God I hope Quinn has a huge season and makes you eat all of your words.

Sorry, I made a typo, but if you want to look at that instead of the basis of what I said, then that's fine. And please find where I said he sucks in there, thanks.
