We’ve been hinting this the last few days; and I’m glad it was released now. Perfect soundscape for my workout tonight. Mr. Peter Parker links up with Ice Cube for a mix that showcases the very best of Cube’s 20 year career. 20 ****ing years people!
There’s few DJs out there that I think should actually continue doing what they do. Face it, a lot of these so called disc jockeys are just folks like you and me that grab a bunch of songs off the internet, throw them together, plaster it with some annoying drops, slap some artwork together and put it on Zshare. That’s not the case with my man Hevehitta & DJ Unexpected. These guys put thought and effort into their releases. I’ve posted plenty of their material since the dopehouse opened. Here’s the latest…

I dont like Drake that much...IMO hes got a good flow but is just decent lyrically but he seems more of an "RNB Rapper" to me and most of his shit appeals to females.
I'm not into the Chris Browns, Lil Waynes, T-Pains, Akons, and Soldier boys. Im more into the old-school hip hop lyrical genius's with a message and flow. I went from liking the beat and all that and now Im at a stage of pure hip hop. Nas, Jay, 2pac, Common, Big L, etc... I like the newer people, as long as theyre lyrical
Me either.
But if thats true, then cop that Quest mixtape i just posted and let me know how you like it Because theres way more to "pure hip hop" then those guys you listed, just gotta be on the lookout for em. Also you would like Pete Rock and CL Smooth, Elzhi, and Shad from what im thinking
