I can't find it on the BMV.

I failed for a second time today when I was stopped in a neighborhood because of parked cars waiting for a car to go by, the car swerves and hits my mirror so I fail.

How many times can you take it over? Is it 3 like other states before you have to retake all the classes?

It was 4 I thought. But that was 7 years ago.

that sucks and i have always wondering about shit like that. if its clearly not your fault for the accident why the hell do you automatically fail.

and for the idiot that hit, he should be forced to pay for the test again (wait do you have to pay for the test?)

Thats bullshit man. I remember taking it. I was marked off a lot of points but passed.

I got the feeling it's totally dependant on the instructors mood that day if you are going to pass...

This is a perfect opportunity for you to learn the importance of being like-able. Schmooze the instructor, be nice to him/her, ask him/her about her kids. Before you know it...you'll have scored 5 points below what's required and he/she will pass you anyways because you've got "the potential to be a good driver."

You can fail 4 times, then you have to wait 6 months before you can take it again.

Also, not sure where you're taking the test, but the BMV in Parma has a high pass rate, the testers there are pretty easy graders, at least they were several years ago when I got my license.

Have you met these people? They do not want to be your friend.

"Hi sir how are ya!?"

"Get in the car. Do you have your sheet?"

"Yes. How's it-"

"Put the car in drive."

I had a fucking robot for my test. I passed but I had this stupid mark off. They take you to this stop sign and there are bushes right next to it. So I stopped at the sign then creeped up a bit after my initial stop to see the entire intersection. It turns out I wasn't supposed to creep up. Seems unsafe to me.

Also, that cone test... definitely doesn't help you learn how to parallel park. My first time parallel parking, I never thought, "turn my wheel three quarters of the way until i see the cone in this mirror" because guess what... there aren't any cones while you are parallel parking.

What does it mean?

Nothing. Nobody makes the jump the first time.

I remember being told that in drivers ed that if you get in a wreck, even if it's not your fault, you fail. I always thought you would have to have the worst luck for that to happen....can't believe I have been driving for almost a decade now.

I remember doing that. I was so nervous that when it was over, I turned the car back on instead of getting the keys out. The dude was like "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING? I SAID TURN THE CAR OFF!!!" That scared me more than actually driving.

Men actually fail driver's tests? Multiple times? Seems like everyone I know that failed when I was 15 was a chick.

Unless they've changed it in the last 13 years, I remember having zero problem with it. I think I got a 95% or something. It terrifies me that people are allowed four attempts before having to wait six months...

I had a dog run out into the road when I took my test. It just stayed there and the owner did nothing. My instructor started yelling at the guy. It was awesome and horrifying.

I failed one time. The lady said i was driving "too cautiously" LOL i'll never forget that in my life.
