Ohio State vs. Nebraska

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It was raining, into the wind, and was already longer than anything Basil has ever kicked.

This may also have something to do with the spiral question.

Yes..everyone throws them, but not with the regularity that these two do. In other words, these two throw more wobblers than spirals. That isn't normal for D1 QBs.

Pryor threw nothing but "wobblies" in his freshman year.

If Meyer doesn't come here, I may off myself.

I read an article saying he has interest in Penn State. That would be the absolute worst scenario.

It just seems like Meyer to Ohio State would be a match made in heaven. I'm talking golden light bathing the Shoe and a choir of angels singing type shit happening.

I think if it came right down to it, he would pick Ohio State over Penn State. He is an Ohio guy, after all. Hell, he was even a tight ends and wide receivers coach at Ohio State when he first started getting into coaching.

Don't disagree with you at all. Plus, the situation is ready made for come in and almost succeed right away. There are even 3 or 4 freshmen he was recruiting hard when he was still at UF. The article I read said he is wary of Smith though. That could be a problem, unless they fire Smith, which I would have no issue with.

Im drunk as the virgin mary on the day Jesus rose, but I totally agree. Especially in the part about golden light in the shoe and angels singing. I always said if he came he'd arrive on a silver disk.

Yea after this disaster, Meyer could achieve god status if he comes in and brings OSU back to prominence.

Not only that, but look at it this way -- he can either replace Luke Fickell, or he can replace Joe Paterno. One of them is a legendary coach, the other one is a failure, even as a stopgap. I know Urban Meyer is a legendary coach in his own right -- he owns the highest winning percentage among coaches with at least 5 seasons (.842) -- but JoePa is such a beloved figure at Penn State that I'm not sure they would immediately warm up to the guy. The Buckeyes, on the other hand, are in need of a savior, and Meyer could be that for this team. If it takes getting rid of that God awful Gene Smith, then I really hope he gets the ax. Even if Meyer doesn't come here... I still hope he gets canned.

Here are a list of tweets from Doug Lesmerises of the PD basically showing how inept the coaching staff is:

Confusing. Coaches say players tried to do too much late in game, but when asked what OSU needed there, they say, "Someone to make a play"

Joe Bauserman in for 18 snaps of ball. Threw 10 passes. Just 8 runs. When he came in with 14-pt lead. Why? Needed to run more

Baffled by OSU throwing low percentage pass on 3rd-13, then turned down 49-yd FG to punt when lead was 7. Needed to run there, set up 44-ydr

Asked Bollman about that specifically and repeatedly. He took a long time to figure out what play I was referencing.

Coaches said they decided to punt before 3rd down if didn't make it. Then called play they had little chance to complete. Baffled.

I asked Luke Fickell what a head coach can and should do to halt a collapse like that. Said "you've got to rely on some guys."

Dont bother bending your mind around it. Given the choice, Meyer chooses OSU 50 times out of 10.

This is just further infuriating. These guys have absolutely no idea what they're doing. Jim Tressel covered up for these guys for all these years, and now they're being exposed. They all need to be heading to the unemployment line at the end of this year.

I know he meant so much to the program, but for Christ's sake, it seems like the guy micromanaged every damn position. The people on our staff are dumb as fuck.
