It looks like they flat gave up even while leading. Nebraska doesn't have team speed. They weren't running anything fancy. The defense just looked flat and uninspired. Like they knew Bauserman was going to dick things up sooner or later, so they just laid down and gave it away.
Giving up a big play or two is one thing, but getting marched on by Nebraska time after time just can't happen. Even if they were tired, it can't happen.
You just have to hope this staff doesn't do too much damage and scare off too many future recruits before this season can mercifully end. I thought for years that Tressel was covering for a bunch of mid tier coordinators and position coaches, but these guys appear far worse than even I thought. Almost unfathomable that they can so consistently play to the weaknesses of a guy in Bauserman that they have known for going on 20 years. Every time he comes in to the game, they seem to call it like he is Tom Brady. When these guys tagged him as the starter going in to the season I knew things were going to be ugly. Being unable to evaluate talent happens to be only the tip of the iceberg for what they do poorly.
