well now that the national mags are starting to put out their previews and spoutting their mistruths it is time to see how the real experts, us of coarse, to lay it out.

Pacfic
1.Suns-this is a no brainer. If Amare is healthy they could be scary good
2.Clippers-They have an aging back court but with Brand and Kaman down low they are a very tough match up.
3.Kings-Bibby in a contract year will be great but when will Artest blow up and cost them games?
4.Lakers-Kobe and Odem are good enough to keep them ahead of the Warriors
5.Warriors-last year went from up and coming to horrible in the blink of an eye. how many games into the season before Davis gets hurt?

Northwest
1.Nuggets-the best of a bad division...If Melo ever actually passes the ball maybe JR Smith will provide some help
2.Jazz-If AK47, Boozer, and Okur are healthy they have a nice front court. If Deron Williams takes a step forward and Brewer adjust quickly to the NBA they could pass Denver
3.T-Wolves-I guess they are the best of what is left. KG is the bomb and they might actually get scoring help from guys like Foye, James, and our old buddy Rickey.
4.Blazers-I think they really improved their talent level this offseason, especially through the draft. still too young to make much noise.
5.Sonics-where to start with these guys? for one they keep drafting 7 footers who can't play. By the time the trade deadline comes around they will be looking to move Allen and even Lewis if they don't think they can sign him.

Southwest
1.Mavs-there only real loss is Van Horn but I think Croshere can fill in as token white boy. Ager could fill in for Daniels as well.
2.Spurs-They still have their big 3 with Duncan, Parker, and Ginobili...sound Elson could actually be an upgrade at C.
3.Rockets-1st thing they must do is keep Yao and T-Mac healthy. I think they brought in some nice additions with Battier and Wells
4.Grizzlies-If Gasol wasn't going to miss time I would put them ahead of the Rockets but they are still a playoff team. Rudy Gay is going to be the bomb.
5.Hornets-a solid team that is burried in a very strong division. A drive and kick from Paul to Peja could be deadly.

Southeast
1.Heat-Duh tough pick here
2.Wizards-until they learn to play D they will always be a bridemaid and never a bride.
3.Magic-Up and comers with Howard, Nelson, and Darko. if they get anything from Grant Hill it is a huge bonus.
4.Hawks-There is some talent on this team. Marvin williams should take a big step forward and Joe johnson can do just about everything on the court but they still have PG questions even with Speedy.
5.Bobcats-adding the pornstache has seemed to bring excitement to the franchise. Wallace is and underated player, they have nice PGs, solid in the paint but still seem far from a winner.

Atlantic
1.Nets-another team that wins it's division by default.
2.76ers-AI and Weber don't mesh. Iguodala needs to continue to improve if they want to be the 8th seed. Carney, Jones, and Smith make up a solid draft class.
3.Celtics-trade Pierce and start over already!!! seems like they have some nice young players in Green and Jefferson. If Rando ever learns to shoot he will zoom past West and worthless Telfair. Wally is as one deminsional as they come.
4.Knicks-I think Renaldo Balkman leads them to the promise land!! Zeke is clueless we get that but you would have to think with starbury, Franchise, Crawford, Rose they could finish ahead of Toronto.
5.Raptors-Bosh is very good, Bargnani is going to be tough, but why in the world did they give up what they did for TJ ford?

Central
1.Pistons-Big Ben is gone but they still put the best starting 5 on the floor. Nazr will actually give them a guy in the post you can't ignore. McDyess, Hunter, and Flip give them a solid bench
2.Cavs-we love our Cavs! in LeBron we trust
3.Bulls-yeah they added Wallace but unless he can get them 20pts per game they are no better then when they had Chandler
4.Bucks-left themselves short handed at PG but Villanueva is all kinds of nice. Redd is a heck of a player and when healthy Bogut will ball but they way over paid for Simmons who is junk.
5.Pacers-I think they are as good as the Bucks but at some point in the year a key player will be shot by Stephan Jackson. O'neal, Granger, Harrington give then a good front court and I think Daniels will play well not that he will get consistant PT.
